  10. Vauxhall UK, then part of GM, ran a similar competition in 1960s and possibly later. From what I remember, contestants were given a standard set of 4 wheels to use as part of the concept, presumably to ensure some sort of scale in which to work. Anyone else remember this? steve
  11. Picked this up from the dealer this morning. Skoda Karoq 1.5 litre petrol 150bhp to replace our Yeti. Loved the Yeti but need more space for 2 child seats for granddaughters. Only FWD this time as didn't find we needed AWD, plus it was only available with the 2 litre diesel and we didn't want a diesel again, give the efficiency of modern petrol cars. steve

  13. This was spotted in Immingham UK earlier today. The old chap who built it (with his twin brother) came out as I was photting it. 2 litre Ford 4 pot, 5 speed manual and a Weber carb. He said it was quite nippy! steve
