  1. I'm not allowed to leave the house. my anxiety is through the roof as i have some of the high risk conditions. Right now I am the most stressed i have ever been in my life, on the verge of a panic attack and have been since thurs. i cant sleep right and I'm scared to go to my docs. I hope i can do an appointment over the phone so i dont have to put myself at risk or my mum and sister as they have conditions too. me and my sister have both moved back in with mum for the lockdown so at least we aren't alone. I've got some kits with me to build but the motivation just isn't there just now. stay safe folks, think of others before you decide you just have to go out, we are all just trying to get through this with some sanity intact. the fear is the worst thing with this
  2. Very cool, I can safely say i didn't know these existed in the real world
  3. cheers for that, I'm just away to shoot him an email
  4. I wonder how many of the flat earthers are also anti vaxxers and peta members?

  6. they sure aint complete, and personally I think the corrado kits are a bit under size when compared to the mk2 golfs. I'm putting the engine from the mk1 into a mk2 just now so it looks a bit nicer under the hood, but i would much rather put a vr6 into it or any modern vw engine. Kinda surprised nobody makes any really given how popular the vw scene is. Clearly scale do a really nice 16v but they arent trading just now and i used the one i have already. I knew i should have bought a load more
  7. try german ebay mate, they seem to pop up there fairly regular. I got both mine from there
  8. I'd like to know more about the vr6 engine mate, I have a load of kits I want to put a vr into
  9. I guess he's a flatter earther now
  10. rather than just post lots of pics, heres a hundred or so https://frontstreet.media/2020/02/19/drt-2020-miami-das-renn-treffen-assembles-fomo-inducing-porsches/
  11. Cool, it looks like something ford should have built
  12. you might find some textured tissue paper in the scrapbook section of a hobby store with the texture your looking for. I'm not sure how it would hold up to painting though as some of it can be pretty delicate. Another option might be to mix some flocking into paint and brush it on. I haven't tried either of these ideas so your best to test it first before doing it on the model.
  13. Oh no I think its still in Canada, I just save every pic of cars i like for reference/ideas and i recognised the way the hood opens. Is this the right one?
  14. Cool project. I think i have some pics of the black car if you need them
  15. Very cool
  16. Happy to help mate, it would only gather dust here anyway
  17. pound shop superglue for resin, humbrol poly for styrene, uv glue for glass/filling small holes and humbrol clear fix for other clear parts. I also have spray glue for adding wood decking to trailers/truck beds. For reinforcing if i've chopped or sectioned something i use acrylic nail filler which can also be used as a glue in certain situations but mostly i use it to add strength where it wont be seen
  18. dropped and destroyed a chassis I'd heavily modded from a viper to fit a 63 fury. found some of it but I'm over it so its going back in the box before it hits a wall. everything i've touched on it today has broken on me and most of it is scratched or heavily modded from something else.
  19. Sweet build,
  20. gym shoe repair glue works for the split tyres, or if you can find "shoo goo too" (most likely in skateboard shops) its already black and sands down at the same rate as the tyres
  21. Very cool, I like the stripes you added too especially since they aren't seen on veedubs much
  22. Its pretty cool I think, much better than the nissan micra done up as a mk2 jag
  23. lots of pics but most of them are taken from too low an angle for the front end, i need one looking down from above
