Found out last night after collapsing on the way to work, while on the bus and weeks of worrying that i dont have cancer. My lungs are wrecked but its not cancer. wear a good mask when painting and doing filler folks, its worth it

Please keep going, this is great to watch coming together. Seeing the different techniques you use is great, and I'm not ashamed to admit I plan to steal them for my own stuff

Just a small ferry, 3500 tons and it can take 9 semis and 50 or 60 cars. I'm on the old boat just now but will be back on the brand new one once this one is sorted out. Both are catermarans though

Caved in and bought a welly vw type 2 bus as I'd given up on ever seeing a plastic kit of it, 2 days later guess what revell announced? The one i got is red but will be getting redone as my dads old one in dark blue and white with some parts from the t3 camper to approximate the conversion. Luckily the welly is lhd so that saves me a job. Dads one had quite an interesting life having been bought in germany new and driven back to canada the long way. The only bit of its history I have yet to find out is how it ended up for sale in a newspaper on a small scottish island

Slammed a revell london taxi and started a chop. Got as far as cutting the roof off when the weather took a turn for the worse and everything started sliding about so i packed it away again. Hope to finish the chop tonight and decide what else to do, maybe a section to go with the chop as the interior is lower than the body. Of course if the boats jumping again none of that will happen, quite enjoying getting paid to build models (I'm nightwatch on a boat and theres no real work to do)

Cool, these were fun to watch on tv. I built the jager version before I quit in the late 90s. All thats left now is the body though and some random bits so if your missing any parts or need spares I might be able to help

Man you guys are flying, I've only managed to sort out my parts.

I'd like to see a ww1 era rolls royce, but as one of the truck/tank conversions used in the desert. I'd also like to see an early farm tractor like an allis chalmers or something similar with the spoked wheels and knobbly metal rims. I just like the way they look so mmechanical compared to even the 30s tractors

I've used the c1 powder and it works quite well. I haven't managed to get the chrome effect they show on their website but I haven't tried it over many colours yet. Over black it gives a nice steel colour. I also read on the c1 site that the op's product is toxic while c1 is non toxic, but I dont know how true that is but since their fine powders I'd guess neither is very good for you. The c1 kit comes with masks, cloths and applicators

Started a polar lights harley quinn bug at 8pm and other than the rear lights and front indicators it was finished at 2am and yes the paint is still sticky. I'll do the trim with silver sharpie and get the lights painted tonight. And since I did it at work I got paid to do it. Now I need to choose something to take for tonight and I'm thinking to take both of the revell tractors and do some more weathered stuff

I kinda like the delorean, it might not have been the best car but the story makes it a very interesting one. And like everything else they look better on the ground. Besides just the fact delorean may have conned margaret thatcher makes it just that much better imo. The last lotus i liked was the carlton until a friend took me a run in his elise but I couldn't live with one of them due to the high sills

If your lowering it more you might find the wheels look a little bigger or at least fill the arches the way you want. Your inspiration pic looks to be on 20" wheels too. I can see some hints of the top secret (japan) supra in your build which was one of my fav cars from the max power era (especially after they shipped it to the uk and did 200 on the a1, but 1000 horsepower will do that, lol

I only use them on interiors and engines or other parts that dont need much handling. I use foil for body trim as the body gets handled more and molotowe isn't very hard wearing

I use stuff in a brown bottle called tacky glue, its basicly a white glue i think but it holds a little better. I got it from a fabric shop and its the only places I seem to find it, but I'm on a small island so you guys will find it easier maybe. I think this is the current bottle style though mine is a lot plainer

If it clogging regularly there is a product for boats that is pretty good. Its called enzyme waste remover/sea blue and one bottle of it should last years if it one drain. A couple of capfulls down the plug hole breaks the gunge down so it disolves in water. The first few weeks you may have to use it daily but once its cleared the pipes once a month will do it. We use it on the boat cos someone put small diametre pipes on the porcelin thrones when it was built and they blocked often until we started using these products. Their enviromentally safe too

So while we have to drive around lakes and find bridges you can just keep on going underwater, isn't that cheating? lol
