Well I'm enjoying this and managed to get a few parts painted so will have some pics once i detail them a little. In the meantime i've ordered the lowered drop top version as I'd like to do one with wood panel sides. I dont believe it was even an option but since theres a lot of gm styling i think it should work, and besides that i have some more mowrider interior files i'd like to use and it seems kinda pointless to use them if they cant be seen. Which leads me to a question, were swamp coolers used on convertibles?

just click to mark the email as spam and carry on with your life. you can find out if your email address was part of a hack by using https://haveibeenpwned.com/ you just put your email address into it and it will tell if it was part of a hack and what data they have on you. it even tells you if they got passwords. it wont stop you getting spam emails but it will tell you if passwords need changed

Another Dupli-Color primer question
stitchdup replied to NOBLNG's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I've had 2 cans do that recently. i think it might be unmixed pigments in the straw as both cans cleared up after a little spraying. mine looked even more fibrous than that, almost like carpet, lol. both tins i had the problem with were filler primer and both were well shaken beforehand. I've got a jar next my booth now to do the first wee squirt into to be sure it safe -

if you have posted your pics on a public forum without using a third party host theres nothing you can do about breach of copywrite. the terms we agree to when we join the forums mostly say your pics can be used by them which you have agreed to by clicking accept terms. almost every site has this in their terms as otherwise they would be liable for any copywrite breaches. even if you have copywrite on a pic, but you then post it on facebook, it goes down in the copywrite rating to a creative commons licence which means anybody can use it as you posted it publicly. the only way to really protect your copywrite is to never post any pics anywhere online. do you think shutterstock and their like really own the right to all those pics they host?

AMT 53 Ford pickup engine swap
stitchdup replied to slusher's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I'm not familiar with the kit but i would probably start by looking for something with the same mounts for the gearbox. That way theres at least one fixed mount already there and the engine mounts can be made to fit easier than making a gearbox fit the tunnel -
my local car parts place is trying to convince me duplicolour matt black paint and black primer are the same thing. even when i take in evidence that one is paint and one is primer (the paint crazes styrene, the primer doesn't) they refuse to admit they are wrong. i just want them to get me the right thing. They have simoniz black primer and matt black paint (but its watery garbage) so its obvious they are 2 different things yet they cant see that

click on advanced search for more options. i think it shows up with the search results. you can also click the box on the right just above the results to swap to search by date which brings up the most recent first. if you dont change this you get results for everything in order of most word matches. putting the ferrari daytona in quotes tells the search engine to only match ferrari daytona if they are together, and you might get more resuts if you leave out daytona and use the year instead. putting the words in quotes only really works with two words, any more and your chances of those words appearing in the order typed is negligable. another method would be to use the google image search function. just type modelcarsmag ferrari daytona into it and it will bring up every pic tagged ferrari daytona, and when you click on the pic it should show all the others from the appropriate thread. Then it just right click and open in a new tab to read the thread

Second wheel falls off airliner in a couple of months...
stitchdup replied to Ace-Garageguy's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
boeing built the plane. its all very well blaming the faa but they only inspect the planes, thay dont build them or turn bolts during maintenance. if boeing worried less about the stock prices and went back to bulding the best planes the quality would start going up again, but like every other big company they outsource everything to save money. to save the company they need to hire the qc folks from lego, everything they make has a tolerance of 0.01mm and has done since they started making bricks. a 30 year old lego part will still fit a brand new one, you cant even say that about graded bolts now -

Cool build. Many of those diamond ts were still inuse during the 70s for hauling oil refinery parts. They were slow but they sure could pull heavy weights -

ask your local computer repair shop for their apple/android screen packaging. the galaxy packaging is by far the smoothest of them -

Its not a mini cooper, its a mini van and has been racing since the mid seventies. It used a steel flip body originally. -
