most of those words probably have a different meaning where i am. for example a teenie weenie is just a teenager, and bitsy means its broken apart. theres some others but they might get me a ban, even though they have different meaning here and are pretty innocent. orkney words can even have a different meaning apart from the original. take hid for example, it can mean it, over there, hide (obviously) and on some of the islands it means home. if my mum and my aunt are talking i can barely understand them, and most of the time I'm not sure if their going to fight or declare world peace. even the tone used to say some words can change the meaning. i've found people from germany and scndinavia seem to understand us better than southerner europeans but we used to be danish so i guess that has something to with it. if i was to put a vid of me speaking up i dont think many of you could understand it, lol

on the facebook link it says there will be stock and slammed chassis available for these -
arrived a couple of weeks ago. my plan is to use the fenders on a mongram 36 ford to build it into a 35. one pic has the fenders from the 36 in and they are very close in size with the truck fenders only being a mil or two wider. length is good. I'll probably use the extra 36 front end on the truck. it wasn't too dear either, even on this side of the pond

I know that feeling well, imagine my disappointment that my turbo hoover wasn't in fact turbo'd in any way

never again will i use local words when buying tools elsewhere. I was in a model railway shop looking at tools and i asked the guy if he had any peedie files. it didn't go down well. locally to me peedie means small

theres a free kit file that has a pro touring chassis and supercharged ls for these. the body in the file is a bit thin but the chassis is very nice and comes with various options. I think its under chevy dually on cults. its a mukti coloured crew cab long bed on the first pic but the options include a crew cab conversion and lots of other parts. the designers name is escaping me just now though

Hands magneisum wheels

do you need some of these wheels? i've got loads of them somewhere. I thought they were trailer wheels or wellers, lol -
you can fix stiff brushes by soaking them in dettol for a couple of days. its a decent paint stripper and after a rinse in clean water the brushes are good to go again. you will lose the handle paint but who needs it anyway. i think most of us have some in the medicine cupboards at home. but if you dont like the smell of dettol you can use la's tottaly awesome cleaner (also safe to use for stripping resin but its slow)

you might find something in bookbinding supplies. most of the textured covers are just a thin sticker or glued on cover so they might work on a model with some care. these are already on paper backing but i expect it would come off if you soaked it in water. https://ratchford.co.uk/product-category/bookcloth-covering-materials/coated-papers/mayfair-leather-coated-paper/

chassis destroyed. gorrila epoxy is as trash as the rest of their garbage products. tried to clean off the useless unset epoxy and it fell apart. might be onto chassis number 4 or it might get thrown against a wall. just sick of wasting my time with nothing to show for 4 days
-
gorrila epoxy, been sitting for 36 hours and still not set, not stuck but it managed to destroymy chassis. it was well mixed and left for well over the 24 hours. what a waste of 4 days modelling, why sell a product that doesn't stick and call it a glue? i'd have been better off just spitting on it

stick a r32 in that and you have a current build. upsize and 3 piece the rims on a set of bags and you'd set the internet on fire
