Impressive! Keep us posted.

I love watching rally racing but I've never built a model of one. Nice job!

Lol puke green? Hey, I had no idea what correct color combos were way back then. I bought my spray paint at K Mart or Wal mart.
-
lol...nah, I kept most of my models in Johan single display cases, secured by rubber bands through the base and around the axles. Over time, that pressure caused some of the wheels to splay out like that one.

Ok, I'm finding all these photos of my old builds. Here's a Shelby Mustang. I think it's like '67 or '68. Ya'll tell me

Nice! I've always been a Volvo fan and owned a '74 that I drove for about a billion miles. Never seen that kit though. What is it?

Thanks yall. I regret selling off my collection, but hey... I needed to downsize. I'm working on a new model room so yall stay tuned!

Very nice build. The headlight surrounds should be body color. You'd think the manufacturer would know that.
-
Thanks. I stand corrected. Hey, it was a LONG time ago and I built about a dozen Mustang models.
-
Thanks, Michelle.

Ain't sure about the year, but this was one of many Mustang models I built. Some kinda kick-ass turbo 4 cylinder.
-
Looks like a challenging build. You done good though.

I can't believe they made a model of this. I guess they did, 'cause I built one. Looks like that back axle needs some attention.

I think this is a '49 but I built it so long ago, I ain't sure. It was on display in a Johan case for many years. Now it's gone baby gone. When I was a kid, a teenager two doors down had one of these with loud mufflers. M dog would chase him every time he passed the house.

Did I post this one before? I forget. My memory ain't too good these days, but then it never was. Love me some Chevelles. I think this was a Monogram kit. Been so long ago, I don't remember. I graduated high school that year. Dang, I'm getting old!

I built several El Camino kits over the years. Here's photos of a couple of 'em. This was way before BMF. Back then, I did some of the trim with strips I cut from aluminum foil.

Impressive work!. Was that a Johan kit?
-
Thanks for the compliments. I forget what paint I used, but often it was just Krylon or Rustoleum from Wal Mart or K mart.

Very nice and good job on the decals. Did you build the truck too?
