  1. Hi GeeBee, What kind do you have? The desk clamp on swivel type?
  2. Hi, Curious, for fine paint work etc... do you prefer a lighted magnifying lamp that clamps to a desk or the lighted head band type that jewelers use? Thanks in advance.
  3. Wow, simply mad skillz, mad. Stoked you are on this forum.
  4. Hi all. Before I ruin the bottle, I was wondering if any one has used the black bottle of Testors cement having a super fine applicator? Do I cut it down until a hole shows or puncture with a needle? Thanks in advance. I did go on the Testors site but didn;t find any manual for it.
  5. I just got one of my recently placed orders filled so all good.
  6. It is possible that you had one that was manufactured later on? What I mean is do model companies, upon hearing word from the street, do slight mods to there kits during production without having to change documentation, version numbers etc...
  7. Check this out, a bit steep for the MPC J Car at $150; http://www.ebay.com/itm/MPC-Ford-J-Car-Clear-See-Through-Body-MPC-501-200-RARE-Model-Kit-1-25-Scale-/201251910242?pt=Model_Kit_US&hash=item2edb8c7262 Another for $90; http://www.ebay.com/itm/FORD-J-CAR-J-MPC-MODEL-PRODUCTS-CORP-MOUNT-CLEMENS-MI-L148-/400520900334?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5d40e7eeee I understand that these kits are total PITA! And of course the MPC Coyote which I hear is also a PITA kit; http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mpc-1983-Hardcastle-and-McCormick-Coyote-1-25-/191462933965?pt=Model_Kit_US&hash=item2c941485cd I did love the show however.
  8. Hi, Does any one know of a kit similar in look to this car? Looks totally cool.
  9. Cooolio. The Model T is making me wanna get a kit of it.
  10. Thanks James, I'll try that mix.
  11. I think a Fujimi Mk1 kit with the HRM engine/trans-axle kit would be very cool.
  12. By the way, also a great song by The Beach Boys.
  13. WOW, love it! Inspirational indeed. As I'm watching Velocity channel etc...
  14. How do they compare in build quality and accuracy?
  15. Wow, cool thread and info. Glad I spent a bit more for Tamiya, so far the paint is a pleasure to work with both spray and brush.
  16. Wow Ace, awesome links, thanks!
  17. I simply can't comment on every ones 2014 build as they all look exceptional to me. But the Cuda is riktor scale bro, dayam! Oh and the vdub, insane engine work for sure, wow!
  18. Hi, I'm curious, are the MPC and Union GT40 Mk4 kits different? It looks like the Union kit has more detail and accuracy and hence a better kit. Or is that simply better vender pics? Thanks in advance and Happy Holidays!
  19. I'll do a test coat to see what happens. If its one thing that's emphasized on this forum is test test test.
  20. Well I paint outside but in California so weather is not an issue. I actually bought a transparent 28" tent off Amazon to help with screening debris and keeping in the heat. I had to leave town for the holidays is all.
  21. Good idea. I did box it up but didn't wrap it in plastic for fear of some weird chemical reaction.
  22. Nice! Whom did you pre-order from? And did they give an ETA?
