  1. Wow, that looks killer!
  2. There are 2 version of the Volki/VMC kit on eBay right now for ~$83 and ~$105. The latter is what they call the full kit which is code for "includes crappy wheels etc..."
  3. Well, I had to add about 4mm to the bottom of the car as the tires wouldn't fit properly w/o increasing the height. Although it doesn't look like much, is been a ton of work. I made the wheels by bashing a few parts together. Curious, even the the body now feels smooth to the touch, whenever I spray a bit of primer, imperfections get reveled. Is that how you all work; keep spraying a bit of primer to reveal flaws and work form there?
  4. Hi, HRM has some very interesting new items, namely; HRM-422; Ronal rally wheels HRM-424; Hot wheels HRM-425; Toyota tuner wheels Curious if any one can clue me in to how these may look? The Ronals come in several variations so I'm curious how his look. I sent HRM an email but I think they go into some space-time-continuum and I really don't feel like calling ppl.
  5. Hi, I must give serious props to Matt over at Gravity Colors. It's pleasing to deal with a company that cares. And he's in the good old USofA.
  6. Like I said earlier, this will be drivable for certain. The body paint is stunning!
  7. Oh dayam, it's gettin serious now.
  8. So bitchen! Are those wheels from scaleproduction.de? That guy has a pretty killer assortment of tires and wheels for sure.
  9. Welp, its a Lego, not meant to be perfect but is a totally bitchen facsimile. And how fun it would be to build, I'm definitely getting it for my birthday. The parts count alone is amazing!
  10. Wow, I've always loved Legos! The Mega-blocks kit looks killer!
  11. One of my favorite shows and one of my favorite actors. Part of this was filmed at my local surf break; Zeros. In fact a life guard tower stands where the house they blew up for the movie was.
  12. Oh man, how could you all over look this one;
  13. Wow that looks beautiful!
  14. Wow, looks great. It's interesting seeing other work flows, I'm still figuring it out mine. But I take it that with yours, you do most painting on sprue. Then when it comes time for fit, you sand/prep and then do some touch up? With parts needing a lot of sanding/adjustments, I assume it's not biggy to paint em all over again as most parts fit correctly?
  15. i hope this becomes another offering from HRM
  16. Ah good to know about the Realiabe Resin. I was eyeing the Ford GTX-1 body which looks pretty darn sweet. But now now. Hope some one else carries it.
  17. It still looks nice though. In terms of your crazing issue, odd that it may have been caused by too little primer. My go to guy who runs a hobby shop and also builds for a living (ppl pay him good coin to build kits) doesn't use much primer, but he does only use Tamiya primers. And he only sprays with Tamiya lacquers as well. So mebbe a compatibility issue between the plastic and the HOK? For this reason I am starting to use sealers like a real spray sealer or Future as a barrier between primer and final paint or bare plastic and primer. Bummer about the mishaps, I've had plenty myself and feel for you.
  18. Wow, you are actually gonna pull it off, NICE!!!
  19. Wait, so Perry's is now Reliable Resin? Oh the irony!
  20. Well, Aoshima kits are first class. I bought a Sesto Elemento for some reason, I guess just to see how there kits look and feel. Man top notch kit!!! Unsure if I will ever build it as Lambos aren't my thing but I even got the detail parts kit for it.
  21. Wow, what a deal you got!!! I've given up on him after several un answered emails and I don't feel like calling him again. I found a few posts back when he was in production about how difficult it was to get a kit after being paid for. I can only imagine what it would be like now several years after he ceased full production. Some business owners simply have no morals or respect for there customers.
  22. Man I haven't heard a peep outta the planet Earth regarding the Zonda Pagani. Is it in fact coming out this year?
  23. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-24-Shiden-1977-Fuji-500Km-race-Fujimi-resin-kit-/182199447119? In fact his eBay store has insane pricing in general. To each his own and I understand wanting to turn a profit but a touch or reality is prudent when in business.
  24. Wow, this car looks bad a$$! Perfect!
  25. Wow, so the kit is stock? Man, it looks sweet. Actually both kits look sweet. They seem to fetch a high price tag on eBay now a days.
