  1. Curious if there is a 1/12, 1/16 or 1/18 scale 70-73' Camaro kit? The 1/25 AMT Baldwin kit looks like the ticket, would like something a bit bigger.
  2. WOW amn, this is simply awesome. It's like the model was used in the movie for a few shoots.
  3. Wow, what a build! Beautiful!
  4. Wow, I just noticed this, its beautiful.
  5. OMG that brilliant! May I build upon your story? It's excellent!
  6. Doh, in fact I think its backwards in general I wasn't even thinking. Due to room etc, I wanted max visibility and chose the back end of the engine. I may or may not change it, would be a PITA at this point to do so. Oh well, this is after all a fictitious car so the engine layout can also be a one of a kind. This will definatly have a story behind it now.
  7. Wow that thing looks killer!
  8. Wow, welcome! You are class AAA bro! I rarely read the intros but your pen name got me curious. My father was a frog man/under water demolitions expert in the 60's so I'm all about the Navy. Just about every one on this forum is or really seems pro builder and solid human beings for sure. At any rate looking forward to your posts.
  9. This is gold, thanks Skip!
  10. Well Snake, I'm unsure. It was a severe race version is all she recalls besides the headers, 6" clutch, race slicks and immense power. The interrior only had 1 seat. It was very low to the ground and had ground effects to help aerodynamics.
  11. So I've created the molds needed to repair the front end. I ran out of Alumilte silicone and got PinkySil. I prefer the harder stuff like what Alumilite has but the mold turned out perfect, no air bubbles etc...
  12. Ha, yes Monsignor Crazy I know I know. I was waiting to be called out I'm calling this a private race team car and wll have some kind of story behind it as I did with my 908. Mebbe Steve McQueen? Forgot, this was a Chevy 427 Hilborn blown drag motor by Gibson Ross which I heavily tweaked.
  13. The front wing I added was buggin so I re foiled it as well as the passenger seat block. I added a brass rod to help mask any potential edge lift and give it some cool detail. Still a very WIP as they say. There are a lot of imperfections and mistakes made in the cockpit which I am relying on the body to cover. You'll see a lot of shmegma here and there.
  14. Oh cool, thanks for the tips. I'll check the trading section.
  15. Hi, All this talk of Camaros lately makes me wanna get a kit. I'd love to build one for my wife as she's always talking about her 1st car, a 73' white with blue stripe race Camero. I found a Fujimi kit, basic curb side, looks nice. Would any one mind suggestiong what they feel is a very good kit? I'd love to do an engine for it as well.
  16. Prolly my favorite Camero, the 70'. My wife learned to drive in a 73' race version with 500hp, turbo 400 tranny and a 6" clutch.
  17. I've still more; - Sanding session on the body. - Tweaking fitment to frame. - Paint main body. - Paint wing and attach. - Other finsihing tweaks. But so far so good. I'm putting it down for a few to finsih my Dino 206 as I cast it's front fender which was BADLYwarped.
  18. Hi, I think this is a killer kit; http://www.profil24-models.com/model-kits-modeles-reduits/fr/gamme-au-1-24e/77-jaguar-type-e-light-weight-le-mans-1964.html
  19. Wow, this a cool idea, I got loads of those! Thanks man!
  20. Hey man, thank you very very much but those things run $15 a pack and I don't wanna take advantage of your kind offer. That's a lot of cash.
  21. I'm going to try GlueDots from Michaels with a 50% coupon which should cost ~$2.50. The actual GrabitStix run $15.
  22. Cool deal SfanGoch, I forgot about that site. As for rivets, I'd like to use up what I got and will prolly end up using Grabit Sticks to manipulate em. As for tweezers, I picked these up for $.99 and bend, sharpen, etc to taste. They are hard enough yet soft enough to change shape when needed. Right now they are sharp enough to draw blood if careless;
  23. Cool idea, thanks LDO. I like plastic and can detail to a desent level.
  24. Not only but I also saved a lady bug larva as well
  25. I saved 3 honey bees, a lady bug, countless sweat bees and a dragon fly from drowning in a swimming pool. Poor things never learned to swin
