  1. This looks very nice, I like it. Your weathering looks very convincing. Could need one of those in 1:1 around here now as there is a snowstorm outside at the moment.
  2. I must get these kits when they come out again. I did own a copy of the older release for about 20 minutes ones. Bought it from a guy in our modellingclub at a meeting and then sold it to another guy a less than half an hour later for the same money. Easy come, easy go I guess...
  3. Here is some pictures of my 1:43 die-cast Le Dandy coupe, sold by Editions Atlas in their Classic Sports Cars series. I get these models on a subscibtion so I get a new one every month but I do belive you can pick them up on Ebay.
  4. Very nice boxart, women washing cars are always a nice thing http://youtu.be/wnY_Jb9bmCg
  5. This one looks spectacular, never knew about this 1:32 kit.
  6. I have a 1:43 diecast of a DS Coupe called Le Dandy, I belive it was made by Chapron. As I see it the two most obvious versions apart from the one already on the way would be the facelifted post 67 version and the Safari (wagon), in a way that could be 3 versions as you would have two wagons (pre and post 67) aswell as the two sedans.
  7. Thank for the comments It is to late to alter the wheelopenings at this stage. I have realized that the camper part is probably 15-20 years to old for the truck. I guess I can claim that someone has moved the chassismounted camper over from an older truck
  8. Maybe I'm strange but I find the 300SL a lot more exiting than both twins and FF and Aventador. I guess it's just a different form of taste. Some people like it and some people don't.
  9. Very nice, I think I have to get one of these.
  10. Really nice one. Like it a lot!!
  11. Another little update on this one, I have started to make and install curtains. Made from normal copypaper and a floralpattern image I found in a googlesearch. I have used woodglue and water to make it stay wrinkled and hung them from 0.8mm brassrod.
  12. I have a feelin the Ferguson tractor is going to be a big hit. I will have to get several of them. A quick count on the models dissplayed at the show and I get 10 kits that I'm going to buy when they reach the shelfs and there is more kits on the way that is not at that show. All in all, a very good time to be a modelbuilder now
  13. Lots of great kits on the way I see, fantastic!!
  14. The Granada that this build is based on was never a Granada in the rest of Europe, we got it as the mk1 Scorpio. To us the last Granada was in 1985. But I guess they where all built in Germany.
  15. This reminds me of that russian guy that built a Rolls Royce Phantom out of a Mercedes W124....and then there was this guy that built a Lamborghini Countach replica in his basement and had to dig up the garden and make a hole in the wall to get it out. I guess, if you don't build models and you'r tired of the wifes nagging this will be the outcome.
  16. Yes, a Pagoda would be great, even greater for me personally would be a W110 Heckflosse/Fintail as I own a 1:1 1965 190. I would also like to see the W111 coupe and cabriolet models. But I guess it will be just a dream. I'm deffinantly buying this new 300SL. I'm still kicking myself for not buying the 1:16 Minicraft kit some years ago when I found it at 70% discount, at that price is was about half the price of a normal AMT 1:25 kit but I had already spent to much money that day and had to back off.
  17. Yes please I already got the fourgonette version so I guess I will need this one aswell. What about building a wrecker out of it, with a ordinary 2cv hooked on the back?
  18. I agree about the E-type, that is a car that should be made in to a new kit. I have a gluebomb of the old Heller roadster E-type and once also had the Monogram coupe but both of them look very off in the front.
  19. Very nice work on these, a bit to low for my taste but really cool
  20. Yes, Tony Mason former codriver with Roger Clark and tvpresenter in old Top Gear and also brother with Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason.
  21. Very interesting news! I think my old AMT kit will stay in it's box. Will have to get one of these, maybe I could use one extra kit as donor for my Airtrax Mercedes W111 kit aswell.
  22. Finally a kit from Belkits that have me interested aswell, I'm in for one of these. Will have to start lookinf for decal option now then, lots of possiblities. Maybe one should build one of these: Does anyone recognise the chap in the photo?
  23. Here is a small update, I have tried to get a better woodlike color as the one before was to dark in my eyes. I have painted with humbrol 61 and MIG Brown wash. And here is one of the sides of the camper, painted in a "chrome" paint that I think make it look a bit like aluminium with chromefoil around the windows and on other bits.
