  1. I don't. I don't think I've ever even looked at a copy, at least not that I can remember.
  2. Thanks. I always wanted a kit when I was a kid, but never did get one.
  3. What model company did the Pink Panther? I always thought that car looked pretty cool.
  4. I'm not real sure I've ever seen any of their products. As someone who has but recently reentered the model car scene, I tend to go with whatever is in the box.
  5. Interesting how tastes can change over the years. At one time, I thought the AMT Dream Rod was the coolest model car ever. Right now I wouldn't own one if it was given to me.
  6. How sad. I was a little angel.
  7. Mixed bag for me, but I really did like the whacky figures; Angel Fink, Wierd-ohs, etc. Not quite the same subject perhaps, but pure nostalgia for me. Most of the bizarre cars, not so much.
  8. It's been years, Scott, so I don't really recall anything specific. I liked the trailer very much though, that I do remember.
  9. Me too, (as regards the "ideas" list anyway). It'd odd that from time to time, a cool idea (or at least one that I think is cool), will pop into my head, and it can be years before the idea resurfaces. To that end, I want to begin a small vignette/diorama this summer, that I've been contemplating for years now, perhaps taking it on the road early next year.
  10. Exactly the kind of thing I have in mind; a pretty spiffy way to combine the two interests, I think.
  11. I know. I had one (reviewed it for a website in fact), but then sold it, as I needed the cash. I'll get another some day though (I hope). I'm thinking more along the lines of a Bf 109, Fw 190, or Ju 87, all of which are available in 1:24 scale.
  12. Perhaps next week, with any luck at all. Yes, it'll have an engine, but the hood will remain closed.
  13. I've read some good things about these, and it seems like there are many here being built.
  14. Finally I was able to get a fresh 20LB CO2 tank today, so painting can now continue. It's been weeks since I could paint anything, but now I'm back in business.
  15. One more to add to the pile, this time the 1:25 Revell 359. With the possible exception of a COE, this'll probably do it for me in this scale. For reasons I don't understand, this one came in with no shrink wrap, though kit inside is pristine and complete.
  16. Lists are only good as long as they're religiously updated. I started an Excel sheet a few years back, to catalog all of my books (I have a lot of books). Owing to a hardware SNAFU (no back up copies), the drive was inaccessible for many months, during which time I sold off many books, and also bought a lot of new ones. Throw in the confusion that followed a recent move, with books piled up all over the place, and I now have no idea where the list stands, as far as accuracy is concerned. I generally have a good idea of what I have, kits wise, but now and again a surprise pops up, so organizing them better is a long term goal of mine. As to works in progress, like a little kid, I'm easily distracted, so ten or twenty projects running concurrently is pretty standard for me, I'm sorry to say.
  17. Right now it's 24° here; Saturday is supposed to be 55°!
  18. I've considered doing a 1:24 WWII fighter on a lowboy, as if it had been recovered and was headed to a museum for restoration. I saw a full size Mig-21PF like that a few years ago.
