  1. Works for me. I think I'll stick with what the kit offers though.
  2. Agreed, interior does look really good.
  3. It's not a receding hairline, it's an advancing skin line.
  4. Yep, that certainly happens to me,... and frequently.
  5. I haven't opened it yet, but it appears that there are tons of additional parts that may come in handy for other projects, as I'll be building this one box stock, like I usually do.
  6. If the Tamiya red was acrylic, the alcohol will strip it right off. If it was lacquer, the alcohol might be OK, if it's low percentage.
  7. Well, I have no affinity for this truck, specifically, but it was either this or the '53 Victoria (which I may also get), and the truck was available today, but the Victoria was not.
  8. Oh man, can I relate. I'll plead, beg and grovel for assistance, then when none is offered, will proceed with whatever information I do have. Then, after spending hours and hours doing the best I can, some genius will come along and tell me "nope, all wrong; you certainly blew it there, Williams, nice try anyway though".
  9. Looks great to me. Nice job.
  10. What's the hole in the fender for? Are you re-routing the exhaust?
  11. And yet another of my pet peeves; the financial "product". How can a monetary loan be a product?
  12. I'll be sure to check it, Ace. Before I get to that point though, I need to trim the door panels to fit, as they certainly don't now. Thanks to you, Joe and Mark, I appreciate the support.
  13. I couldn't agree more. Very nice.
  14. Sounds crazy enough to be cool.
  15. I can see myself starting to accumulate a pile of started, but unfinished stuff too, and I'm trying to change that behavior, big time.
  16. Wow, oldie moldy. This should be interesting.
  17. I almost grabbed one of these kits today at HL, but opted for a '53 Ford truck instead. Perhaps the next time I'm there,...
  18. Oh yes, definitely an improvement.
  19. Indeed it does; very nice.
  20. Looks good to me.
  21. I have a similar dilemma with a GTX; exhaust tips (chromed) are terrible, and need to be stripped, then ends opened up.
  22. Cool! I've always like the Pinto, regardless of configuration, so this will be interesting.
  23. One more for my meager pile, purchased as much for '53 being the year I was hatched, as anything. It may also serve as the basis for one of my holiday vehicles, quite possibly Halloween.
  24. I'll be grabbing the convertible eventually, but don't have any of the kits asked about, so can't answer the question. As Mark says, the red box '69 has both the 440 and 426, plus gobs of additional parts. The same kit also has an incorrect '68 hood, from either a Roadrunner or GTX.
