  1. Interesting, so I'm left with a front end that has neither shocks nor springs, and a rear end with springs only,... bizarre. Thank goodness this will be curbside, is all I can say.
  2. Interesting stuff, so thanks. My instructions call for only one horn (passenger side of radiator).
  3. Though the MMVA is not specifically associated with our club, we have provided a link to their information, available from the Gateway home page.
  4. OK, looks like no date has yet been set, but the show will take place in early to mid September. Here's a link to the Gateway IPMS site.
  5. Never mind, it appears now that it's a 440.
  6. OK, at least the chrome heads indicate that one engine is a 426, any ideas what the other engine represents?
  7. The Kirkwood show takes place twice a year. Link is here to the thread regarding these shows. The Gateway IPMS also does an annual show (usually in September). I'll see what I can dig up for that.
  8. One that gets me, with supposedly college educated politicians anyway, is the term "Nucular". I think it's been butchered so many times by politicians and newscasters, that it's been incorporated into the modern dictionary as an acceptable replacement for nuclear.
  9. Perhaps not useful, but certainly necessary sometimes.
  10. One more vote here for leaving it as-is.
  11. Very odd, instructions call for two #140 shocks to be installed in rear, but darned if I can find them anywhere, and I have looked. There are two coil-overs (chrome) that I assume are for the front end, but I see no way to mount them, so I'll just not bother.
  12. My car came with a parachute pack, did yours not?
  13. As a relative newbie back into the world of car modeling, I really admire guys that go all nuts on a car like you're doing. You have much more courage than I do.
  14. That's a great color, I'll have to remember that.
  15. Wow, a flash from the past. I always wanted this kit, but never did get one.
  16. Really starting to take shape now. I wish I had the space for one.
  17. I'm probably guilty of some those already mentioned. My personal dislike, is for the word "replicate"... I must have seen it a billion times by now, and I'm bored silly with it.
  18. Me neither, until yesterday. 41 seems way too young to go though.
  19. I though this was about the movie;... oops!
  20. Absolutely. The old boxes, at least temporarily, take me back to a much better and more carefree time in my life.
  21. Chrome is pretty cool, though the molded in headlights are a bit of a letdown. When I do another GTX or Roadrunner, I'll hog these out and replace with clear lenses.
  22. To me, these hood hinges are perhaps the single neatest detail in the kit, far better than the big stupid tabs that I'm accustomed to seeing.
