  1. Thanks Rich ,i am just kinda making this one up as I go . got somethings I want to try out . To see if they work and how they look. I know that having two Pete Tridems going at the same time might be confusing people. I know I get confused all the time!! lol Be Well Gator
  2. Clayton, You could do the BMF then clear coat it which will tone it down. Your choice of gloss, semi gloss or flat, I would use the flat ! Be Well Gator
  3. That looks real good ! You wouldn't happen to have a extra windshield or two? Would you ?? :-) I have two of the 4X4 vans that I want to finish and the windshields went missing ?? ;-) :-? Be Well Gator
  4. Pat, I like what you did on this one. Even if you seem to be getting a bit frustrated! I think it all looks pretty good. Be Well Gator
  5. Dan, It looks like your enjoying working on the printer. I like the long bed.I think it really looks good. But I would guess that the real beds were much shorter?? Be Well Gator
  6. X's 2 Totally awesome build. I like all the details you added. ? Where did you source the radiator electric fan? I need a couple for a big rig project I have in mind. Be Well Gator

  8. Jeff, No problem . I know back in the day when I was running equipment.I didn't carry a camera either.Besides film and the developing cost too much! I will figure something out. no worries . Be Well Gator
  9. Jeff, Thanks for stopping by letting me know about that. If you can get any photos they would be greatly appreciated. Either way I will figure out some sort of a system for it. Be Well Gator

  11. Greetings Everyone, I made a little but more progress today. Got all three cabs and hoods painted, Only one needs a little touch up. On the tridem.I changed my mind on using the Revell Peterbilt tanks. I found some from an AMT general kit that I like better. I also found a hydraulic tank from the Gravel trailer kit, to use with the winch. I am pretty sure I will use the long tread [late rear fenders from a Revell Alaska hauler. Now I need your opinions. On the front bumper. Should I go chrome ? Or strip it and paint it? ok now for the photos of the mock up. This will be the last update until the middle of February. Be Well Gator Going surfin!
  12. Greetings Everyone, This will be my last update on this project until the middle of February. I got the Italeri dump body modified to the legnth I want . I made it a little shorter than you would expect I could have made it a half to one inch longer.. But this truck is used more for heavy hauls than it is a dump. So the whole dunpbody and frame lift off the chassis .So the truck and pull trailers. Practical ??? But it kinda makes sense to me. And that is my story and I'm sticking to it!! lol I am also going to use those good looking diamond plate fenders that come in the Revell kit. Comments and or criticism welcome. Be Well Gator
  13. I still think the red , white and blue looks great. And after seeing the paints sprayed and side by side. I feel even more incline in that direction. It is your build. But i think you will go with the Patriotic colors?? Be Well Gator

  19. Gator, believe it or not that bench is probably 18 years old.Theres usually so much BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH on it that the back of it never got dirty. It's out in my shed where it's peaceful and I can leave everything laid out until I come back to it.My modelers mat came in the mail the other day and I just bought a lighted magnifier lamp for my old eyes lol.Even if I don't get much done it's still relaxing to spend a little time out there! Well your workbench looks pretty good. As far as getting away and relaxing while tinkering with a model. That is for me what it is all about ! Though my workbench is not secluded any more. I still can zone out. My wife knows to leave me alone when I am at the workbench.Especially if I have my headphones on!!! Be Well Gator
