Good choice for a tractor unit. And the trailer fits well. It is amusing that you want to open the doors on the trailer. For years the AMT trailer had doors that opened and most people glued them shut. Though in the last few years people have really started to detail the interiors on the trailers . Looking forward to following this build. Be Well Gator -

Cool idea and a good looking model . As for the palm trees. hey the snow got bad so he drove to Florida !!!! lol Be Well Gator -
Awesome job on this build ! The end result in my mind justifies the results. To answer your question On which is easier. I would think it would be the freeform custom build . I find trying to replicate something accurately to be very frustrating. And I just build what I want ,how I want. but that is just me! Be Well Gator

Sean, Looking good thus far ! I know what you mean about doing the heavy work fast. Then bogging down on the fine tuning. It is tedious but I do kinda enjoy it !? lol Be Well Gator -
I have four unfinished. Not in any particular order. The Pete tridem, the resultant Pete single axle, and a Pete twin screw. All three are snap kits. The last one is Volvo conventional, The ERTL kit with the metal frame. The Tridem with the new winch mocked up. Second photo the tridem and the single screw. Be Well Gator

My editing skills are not the greatest This picture was supposed to be further down the page. Here is a mock up of the winch . I have been wanting to update this thread for a while now. This build has morphed into three trucks now. All Petes. The Tridem ,the resultant single drive. And a standard dual drive. The other two are in various stages. The tridem, is what I have spent the most time on. I cobbled together a winch for the read cat walk the parts came from the Revell Euro lowboy.
