Looks good. Paint is pretty cool, does it look more pearl in the sun? These are fun builds in my opinion.

Mine were one line but wouldn't fit so I had to separate it. I appreciate it but looks like TECHMAN has me covered! Thank you for the effort

not sure, all my decals are stored together.

The 65 Olds stocker and Skylark has the same decal but in red I think and I'd settle for those and just place them over the set decals. UGH!

AMT The Green Hornet Black Beauty Kit
Sledsel replied to martinfan5's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Actually this was a uni-body car and a 1/24 Mopar may work. Something like Doms Charger could work also. I have this kit but have not checked dimensions to anything else yet -
Looking good!!! I like the frame mods. The seat came out nice! Are you going to open the front and rear window openings. They are too short as brought up on the forum in the past. Front and rear needs opened the width of the trim. Oddly the Comet kit is ok... 😖 Also, the flat pieces on the frame to the fender in front of the front tire are not there on a 1:1. I removed mine. Just an FYI

I am building a Short track stock car, decals on one side and set, somehow destroyed the decal for the other side. Decal is yellow/gold letters with black border and says "Jon's Auto Parts" Any help would be great! Thank You!!!!!!!

Carl, I came home from the hospital as a newborn in a 64 Galaxie 2 door ht, my second car was a 64 Galaxie 2 door ht, and my 4th car was a 64 Galaxie 2 door ht. I have a soft spot for them..... and a 64 convertible kit that needs parts. I think I have a total of 7 of these Drag Combo's!

Shouldn't be tough but that Revell kit needs the windshield and quarter window opening corrected. -
Gassers and rear spoilers?

I am giving my 2 cents on this......... Build it how you want it! If ya like an idea and think it's cool, just do it. -

Merc looks good... I am using the kit supplied custom parts but with modifications. I have several so I can experiment a bit.

Very nice. Great color choice!

Don't see many old 60's customs. Looking kool. I wonder how one would look with the passengers side rear treatment on both sides? Keepin' an eye on this one since I am into a 60's custom also but it's a 64 Mercury.

Bringing it back from the dead 57 Ranchero
Sledsel replied to junkyardjeff's topic in WIP: Model Cars
I'll be watching this because I actually enjoy this kit. It was my very first build. Bought it an Open Pantry convenience store in the old Advent box! I mentioned it before but other than the short roof the body is more accurate than the newer Revell 57's I have a few of these myself and I'll give you a hint, go ahead and assemble the body first. I sanded the ridge out of the top of the front fenders, filled and smoothed them and added the the ridge back with 1/2 round. A little sanding on the rear quarter will correct the body line. It tapers down in front of the rear tire. The front fender between the bumper and body line needs sanded because it is too thick. AMT front bumper, valance and grill work great. The Revell grill works, but that front bumper and valance are incorrect. -
The Foose wheelbase was lengthened by moving the front wheels forward. I do not think correcting it would be to difficult tho. I do not have the Foose kit to compare but know some of the modifications to the 1:1
