Prices have bounced around a lot in the last handful of years. Barrett Jackson dreamers start high but usually drop to more realistic prices. Good deals are there for sure though.

I had the issue also. I started using primer/sealer over filler primer when needed, so far so good.

I just spotted this in the Home Depot parking lot. It is November 27th and I am in Northern Ohio. Pretty cool to see it out.
