Looks really good. As long as your happy, we're just observers.

Better is more than acceptable. Nothing is ever perfect.

Nice job on the corrections. By looking at the pic posted of the 1:1 you could have thinned those A pillars even more. I may thin the ones on my build down now since you pointed it out. On my '51 I took a different approach.... I sanded the inside of the roof with it off!

That is a super build!

I'd love to see it too! Both grills please!

AMT 1961 Ford Galaxie hardtop, any news?
Sledsel replied to PintoKING's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I vote all!!! The '67 tops the list and could easily use the '66 chassis. I believe the '68 needs to be in there also!!!! The '61 Starliner and '62 hardtop would be great as styline kits but money-wise use the '63 chassis plate so the hoods can be opened and engines installed. Include the '63 firewall though. Now, saying that, all the underpinnings of the '60 work on the '61 and '62 also. Being able to build every full size Ford from '60-'69 would be nice. -
I am not a big Corvette fan, but I missed out on this one last time, so I'll get one. The '61 Ford builds up nicely although it has a 4 door interior. If the hood is opened up, the '63 Galaxie chassis, engine, firewall, ect. will yield a nice kit. I'll definitely grab a few. The Olds, well, I have a few so I'll probably skip it.

Sweet! Love your creativity.

Nice job on what I think is a strange kit. Definitely a Rat Rod. Great detailing.

Sharp looking Chrysler. Great color choice.

Another nice "Cover" build! -
Sweet looking build. I have one of these in my stash but am sure it will not come out this nice. On a kit note, Revell made some really heavy duty steering linkage!!!! LOL

Nice work on this Mopar!

Nice!!!! Your imagination is something else! When it comes to building you have no fear of making and accomplishing your concepts! What is that color? I see it's black with multi colored flake. I'd love to see it in the sun. I think I need a can of that!!!

Great job on it. The extras set it off nicely. I do not have the 53 but I do have the 55 which is probably about the same kit and it is pretty nice piece. Yea, these old kits need some attention but they look good when done.

Nice looking 71! You did it justice for sure! Crude start or not it came out very nicely. I only see some minor issues with the print that could be fixed easily I think. Probably the reason I see them is I own one of these cars.

The hood modification and working lights make it stand out. The mods done make it unique for sure. As for bodywork, practice practice practice. I know when I started on more major mods, I think I sanded more than I didn't. I actually went thru a lot of filler learning. Never stop!
