I had the bottles of blue and the green metalic. The green was never opened and the blue was 3/4 full and both were still usable when I gave then to my son two years ago. That paint had an entirely different smell from other paints!

Don't wait, it only makes it harder to get another futty friend in the end. Know this from experience as we haven't had another pet in over 20 years. Had too long to think about it and now can't face the chance of another loss. Guess part of that may have to do with age and not rebounding from loss like I did when we were younger. -
The were ordered direct from Carney Plastics. 114.95 + 24.00 shipping. (each)

Found out my 70 year old sister has covid! Three weeks ago the nursing home she is stuck in (by the state) had their first case in a resident. They tested all the staff and found 1 that was positive and after an hour of tap dancing around he admitted his mom whom the 45 year old is still living with has active covid-19 and has had for over a month and was in the hospital now! The home went from 0 positive a month ago to now 107 positive cases and 5 deaths.

What Did You Have for Dinner?

Fresh green beans, red potatoes with onions and bacon! 2nd time around = even better! -
Yep, dealers like that one are primarily dealing with high risk customers that cannot qualify for a regular car loan so they sometimes are carryng the note themselves. They are insuring they are not going to lose money. Dealers like Kia and even Ford usually can get you financing but if you score is too low the interest rate will be quite high.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Rick. My heart breaks for all of those that have lost that one special person in their lives. I know if my soul mate of now over 50 years now goes before me I will not be far behind as I would not know how to even begin to live without her. -

Great save! I have rehabbed quite a few over the years. A bass for my oldest son that he pulled out of a dumpster, an old 70's Harmony that the original owner was going to smash up on stage in their show. Traded him a newer cheap Harmony Strat knock off for it. One of my Twin sons has that one and there were several others including a Domino bass I rebuilt for a guy that was the bassist in the band my twin sons were in at the time. That one was a wiring nightmare! Right now I have a kit bass guitar waiting to be built. -
Prayers going up for your wife!

Feels strange sitting here with bare walls where my models once sat on shelves, empty closet and boxes stacked everywhere! Was supposed to move this weekend so we have most of our stuff packed (still packing today) just my wife and myself and she still cant lift anything heavy because of her fecent pacemaker battery replacement and valve replacement. The carpet guys are running behind so the apartment in the 55+ community we are moving to isn't going to be ready until Monday or Tuesday and we have no help available to move until next Saturday! All our boys working or watching their kids while spouses work and the older grandkids are just too plain lazy these days always on the electronics playing games all night and sleeping all day!!! So goes life I guess!LOL

In 1974 bought a 1965 Dodge Polara off the back lot of the Dodge Dealer in Portage Wi. for 150 dollars! Used my Hofner Bass Guitar for collateral until payday for him to hold it! It had a 440 4 barrel with a 4speed and posi rear. The mechanic that put the battery in the day I picked it up said they had pulled the Hemi that it came with and replaced it with the 440 out of a 1970 Challenger which is where they put the Hemi! The original paperwork that they had along with the service records show it was special ordered by the Sauk County Wi. Police Department! Wish I had never traded it off! Was great dusting off Camaros and Mustangs from the stoplight in a granny car!LOL

I'm sure my youngest sons would have stayed in the hobby (one has come back to it a couple years ago) if they would have been producing kits of the cars they were driving and their friends had! "Ricer" kits as so many call them were few and far between and even just late model cars like many had for their first cars that they would dress up were non existent! Many of the younger builders I know wish someone would put out cars subjects from the era of Johan! -
Quitting the Hobby

In my case I am down sizing because we will probably be moving very soon as our neighborhood has become unsafe. Vandalism, break ins has gone way up and can't sit outside without that skunky smell saturating the area! Had people on the 4th tossing quarter sticks in peoples yards and when they came out to complain they were being beat up by a bunch of punks, even on man's wife who was dragged through her yard by her hair! Will be going top a 55+ housing complex in a small town where my son lives. Still two bedroom but less storage space. At least I can drive a few blocks to his house and use his garage for any paint work.
