  1. Got and email that mine shipped already!
  2. They were showing two left so with the wife's nod of approval I dropped the hammer on one!
  3. This one is a must have for me. Owned one of these for a short time when I tried to go independent. End result made lots of money and went broke thanks to a less that reputable broker. I remember hauling Budweiser out of St Louis to Portage Wi. just as hard as we could run following the big strike. Lot of creative log book work went on for a while!
  4. Thinking of pulling the trigger on this one but want the best price I can get.
  5. Well, 1 hour and 622 dollars later what was left of my eye teeth are gone. Said they were pretty badly infected so back on antibiotics. Ther were so boned in he is referring me to an oral surgeon for the last two extractions.
  6. Thats what Im working towards but being medicare wont cover dental it will take time to get there. My first dental experience was when I was about 7 years old and he actually smoked a cigar while working on you!
  7. Same here. Small town Dentist with a large practice. Very friendly environment and he is one funny guy. Has posters of fishing equipment, charts and such on the ceiling From past experience there was pain it seemed from start to finish. This guy there was no pain at all, even after the procedure it was minimal. But I still fear going back which is in about 45 minutes!LOL
  8. That is the truth! Mine pulled two lower front teeth and it was 456 dollars for less than 20 minutes of chair time! Last year when the wife had her heart surgery heard two of the cardiac surgeons talking about one of their brothers new 650,000 dollar boat they had brought into Lake Michigan. The one said "I should have become a dentist like my brother instead of a heart surgeon!"
  9. I've been through back surgery, hip replacements and many other procedures but yet I am still scared of the dentists office! I swear I didn't fear being shot at as much as going to the dentist! Am I crazy or is this a natural thing???LOL
  10. Great save Sam. She's a looker for sure!
  11. Don't see the three axle chassis around here but other than that it sure has the look! You nailed it!
  12. Very well done! Really love the color! The color and striping are reminiscent of the trucks on the road back what I first started driving trucks!
  13. Turned out great Sam! Love the old style transport trailer! Goes right with the ole Crackerbox!
  14. Great looking build of an everyday work truck!
  15. Now that is one beautiful truck! How did you do your stripes?
  16. What size plastistruct would be right for it. Not going vinyl on the replica of my old 69 Chevelle Malibu going two tone but it used the same trim.
  17. Think of the raw talent that went into these back then. Now they let a computer program do most of the work.
  18. I've always used cheap tissues from places like the dollar store . Whether in their box or a case I just wadded tissues and stuffed them around and over the top of the models until the the box or case was slightly over full. They took some good jolts in the many moves but only lost small easy to put back on parts. Just recently opened some boxes that had been packed away over 30 years ago this way the went through multiple moves with no real damage. In the individual cases I took out the model, turned the case upside down put a piece of paper on the bottom so the tires would not burn the plastic and put the car in packed and used the base for the top.
  19. I don't even look at local obits anymore. It was getting to the pace that every other day there was someone I knew in there and it was getting really depressing.
  20. What pleased me is getting two teeth painlessly pulled today! 4 more to go.
  21. You should hear that sound from inside! along with the shakes, rattles and squeaks! Awesome!
