  1. 90% of the time first class package delivery shows not available so you are stuck with high priced "priority" which takes longer to get there that regular mail did! They say 2-3 days guaranteed but when it takes a week they blame "covid" for the delay and won't give a refund.
  2. Rich was a great guy. While I never had the pleasure of meeting the man his occasional correspondence with me told a lot about the man. He was very helpful on some of my builds with suggestions and just the knowledge sharing he did. He was very caring and kind when my wife had her heart surgeries and problems as well as my own. Always with a comforting word. I'll miss him. Godspeed Rich.
  3. Could not stand the missing tool boxes so made some out of my empty cheerios box.
  4. Getting closer! Didn't want Don's so made up a name using some left over decals. Would have changed location but didn't have anything that would work.
  5. So very true!LOL It is also generational as we pass it down to our kids and they to theirs!LOL I was taught do as I say, not as I do from my grandparents and felt the sting after repeating some word they used, but used fluently as an adult once out of the house.(military service didn't help nor being a truck driver!LOL) My kids have taught their kids the same and they do not use bad language even though their dads (and some moms) do. I am sure as they reach adulthood they too will grow their 4 letter vocabulary.LOL Just a side note, one son's daughter made him start a swear jar. He said he would add a quarter every time he said a bad word. She insisted he put a dollar in each time, said she wanted to go to college!LOL
  6. Received my end of a trade from Oldmopars yesterday! Would trade with him any time! Thanks Scott!
  7. Our most sincere condolences of the loss of your wife. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.?
  8. It reminded me of once about 1987 pulling into a truck stop next to a portable parking lot about 2am and noticing an open window on on of the lower cars. Figured it might have been broken out. Went in and called out for who the driver was and he stood up and I told him what I saw. Walked out with him to check on it and discovered a guy and gal sleeping in the back seat! They had been in there about 7 hours and it was a mess.
  9. Careful guys, just sayin'.?
  10. Just unmasked the 1st bed side. Took me over 2 hours to mask it. Was afraid the tape might be too thick and sticky but it came out pretty good! Will di the other side tomorrow.
  11. That was my original ides but lost the magazine that had the instruction on how to do the whole job on the hood and grill.
  12. I do worry about what the car owners will say about their cars being transported wit the windows rolled down!LOL

  20. Those are from Carney Plastics. I have three that hold 24 cars each with dividers. Going to be getting 3 more at least one without dividers for some builds that are a bit too long for the divided ones. May get the 21 car cases because they have higher shelves as a frw kits are too tall for the ones that have 24.
  21. Ron Bushy passed away from esophageal cancer early this morning at the age of 79.
  22. Did a little messing around with things like that working at a small business called McGraw Brothers that made horse shoes for thoroughbreds! Waiting for shoe rods to come from the trimmers and grinders gave us time to try a little metal bending other than bending horse shoes!LOL
  23. Had that breakfast many times at the little hole in the wall trucker restaurants back when I was driving OTR! Usually served on a platter instead of a plate!
  24. Biscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs for breakfast!
