  1. and one more! I didn't like the chassis and interior setup they had so used a parts kit (69 Cougar) for chassis parts and interior bucket.
  2. Thought I would keep this theme going a bit longer!
  3. That one is purdy! John! I love those kits!
  4. I'm not either but this was a "Honey Do" for the wife!
  5. One would think that some reverse engineering could be done on the Johan kits. I'm sure there are people out there that have mint kits that they would consider letting be used for that purpose. Lord knows they would have customers for them!
  6. Jon, my wife and I used to put the puzzles together and then use puzzle glue on them. Then I would back them and our son would make frames. She was selling them at yard sales for more than we had in them!LOL
  7. Tried to replicate a long lost build but finding the original parts I used would have been cost prohibitive. Picked up this old Revell kit in a package deal and went to work.
  8. This was built 100% out of the leftover parts box!
  9. Nice mellow look! It stands out by being so simplistic and real!
  10. Chuck! Is it just me or is your basement full of Hudson kits waiting to be built??? That one is fantastic!
  11. Great color combination! Takes me back to when seeing these cars was an every day experience!
  12. That is sweet Craig! Love the color and the look!
  13. Really nice build! This one is on my "honey do" list for my wife but I would have to convert it to a 4 door to be like the one she has a picture of her dad's when she was a kid. Hard to find kit plus expensive to get!
  14. Panther Pink! Model Master Lacquer.
  15. Built from the Landy Kit. Decal failure with microset cause it to go into the closet for about a decade before being redone to a street version.
  16. Painted a little detail and added some missing bars from the cage.
  17. Looks great! I have one in the closet waiting for it's turn on the table!
  18. Pretty much out of box build. Just lowered the stance a bit and worked the tires over a bit to make them look a little better!
  19. Love it! Great work on a pretty basic kit but yet has potential to look good! I like building those too!
  20. Looks great so far! Not the easiest subject to work with either! But I have a fondness for those Tri Five kits!
  21. I like the direction this is headed! Doing old kits like this from the parts box is one of my favorite things to do!
  22. Sounds like my son's dogs! (and their cat)! They all pile onto the couch and will only move if you "physically" insist!
