  1. Painted a little detail and added some missing bars from the cage.
  2. That is a beauty John!
  3. My hat is off to you! Great build!
  4. Looks great! I have one in the closet waiting for it's turn on the table!
  5. Pretty much out of box build. Just lowered the stance a bit and worked the tires over a bit to make them look a little better!
  6. Love it! Great work on a pretty basic kit but yet has potential to look good! I like building those too!
  7. Looks great so far! Not the easiest subject to work with either! But I have a fondness for those Tri Five kits!
  8. I like the direction this is headed! Doing old kits like this from the parts box is one of my favorite things to do!
  9. Sounds like my son's dogs! (and their cat)! They all pile onto the couch and will only move if you "physically" insist!
  10. There was one construction worker injured according to what they said on the news that day. maybe that was him! Upon looking again if it is on top just to the left of center, that is the top of a crane down the road that you see. It disappears just before the collapse. (crane must have been moving)
  11. I think Spring took a detour!
  12. Our store here that has been long gone stopped stocking models in the mid 90's and that was the last they saw of me! They always had a great selection too and there was always someone shopping it!
  13. Went to go outside a minute ago and IT'S WINTER AGAIN!!! At least it isn't snowing..........YET!
  14. I have known at least 4 families with this breed of dog and every one was a big baby! Just like with what they call a pit bull, it is all about how they are raised from a pup that determines what the dogs temperament will be! Same goes for any breed dog for that matter! My daughter-in-law is a Vet Tech and they have 2 they got from Pittie Rescue, one was severely mistreated and had been burned on her back and head. It took a while for her to trust people but she took to their kids immediately and is the most loving dog you will find!
  15. Bill said: Kraft has finally managed to remove the last vestige of anything tasting even remotely like cheese from their Macaroni and Cheese. We make our own using American cheese from the deli.
  16. That is cool! I had never seen that AMT track but liked it was a 1/24 scale. Only track I ever owned was in the early 1960's and it was a 1/32 Strombecker!
  17. I find saving an old glue bomb or discarded unfinished kits with pieces missing more rewarding than building a new kit! Seems that they turn out to be some of my best builds!
  18. Looks pretty close to Palomino Gold!
  19. The cars were developing rust holes in the tops of the fenders on cars that had not even left the car lots! Looking good on the restore! BTW! That was one of the few body styles of the era that was actually good!
  20. My 1954 Chevy Belair (first car) was bullet proof! My 2 65 Ford Falcon Vans. Put a lot of miles on them back in the "Hippie" days! Had a lot of good dependable cars of all makes over the years. The latest is our 2006 HHR. Bought used with 125000 miles and been driving it 5 years trouble free!
  21. A lot of possibilities with the Model A!
  22. Ours has less than half an aisle now and the selection is poor.
  23. Hey Greg! THANKS!!! Lots of fun. Spent part of the afternoon doing them with my 4 year old grandson while we watched him! He's better at it than I am too!LOL Been downloading car pictures from parades and will download pics of my builds into puzzles now for him to do! (me too!LOL)
