  1. The sinkhole was back in 2014. They filled it in and you can walk on where it was. There’s also a viewing port.
  2. My wife and I recently drove across country from Arizona to NJ and back. We stopped in Bowling Green Kentucky at the National Corvette Museum. What a very well laid out place! It described the beginning of the Vette all the way thru all its changes including the prototypes. It housed so many one of a kind and very rare Vettes. There was a rally there as well and the parking lot was loaded with Vettes. There was also a track for people to drive. I didnt go to the track but could hear the cars. The parking lot.
  3. I saw this old Plymouth today in Dewey/Humboldt,Az
  4. I was looking in Micromark and saw a few models for a reasonable price and thought I would share. https://www.micromark.com/new-items-closeout/closeouts/custitem_type_facet/1-SLASH-24-Scale,1-SLASH-25-Scale,Unassembled-Kit?new-items-closeout%25252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252Fcloseouts=

  5. This is looking great! I'm looking forward to seeing it in color! Dave
  6. I'm not sure what shape tanks you are looking for but I have used regular and small BIC lighters (they need to have any pressure removed from inside) and PVC pipe or copper pipe. The PVC or copper have open ends but you can use some old simple hubcaps for the ends. Dave
  7. I got a bit further on this. One more priming and I think it’s good for finish. I also got the hinges on the rear door. Dave
  8. Picked this one up to build for a friend who had one back in the day. Dave
  9. I did a bit more work on this. Smoothed out the body (it likely will need more body work). I used stained and sealed coffee stirrers for the floor. I'm also working on rear door hinges. Looking to paint it a metallic black, but I have to make sure the body work can support black. Being that the vehicle is powered by a V8 and the bug doesn't have a front grill, I had to make one. I think it looks pretty good. I also added tires and Cragar wheels. Thanks for looking. Dave
