  4. Thanks for the nice comments. I’m glad you liked it. It was a fun build. Dave
  5. I finished this about a month ago. I used the rear end from a '40 Ford delivery and added it to the front of a VW bug. I also carved out the front hood and made the grill for the V8 inside. I hope you like it and thanks for looking. Dave
  6. Interesting color combo! Dave
  7. Nice color! This is a cool kit although I don't like the multi piece body. Dave
  8. I made a license plate for a boat hauler I’m making.
  9. The sinkhole was back in 2014. They filled it in and you can walk on where it was. There’s also a viewing port.
  10. My wife and I recently drove across country from Arizona to NJ and back. We stopped in Bowling Green Kentucky at the National Corvette Museum. What a very well laid out place! It described the beginning of the Vette all the way thru all its changes including the prototypes. It housed so many one of a kind and very rare Vettes. There was a rally there as well and the parking lot was loaded with Vettes. There was also a track for people to drive. I didnt go to the track but could hear the cars. The parking lot.
  11. I saw this old Plymouth today in Dewey/Humboldt,Az
  12. 13. This is looking great! I'm looking forward to seeing it in color! Dave
  14. I'm not sure what shape tanks you are looking for but I have used regular and small BIC lighters (they need to have any pressure removed from inside) and PVC pipe or copper pipe. The PVC or copper have open ends but you can use some old simple hubcaps for the ends. Dave
  15. I got a bit further on this. One more priming and I think it’s good for finish. I also got the hinges on the rear door. Dave
  16. Picked this one up to build for a friend who had one back in the day. Dave
  17. I did a bit more work on this. Smoothed out the body (it likely will need more body work). I used stained and sealed coffee stirrers for the floor. I'm also working on rear door hinges. Looking to paint it a metallic black, but I have to make sure the body work can support black. Being that the vehicle is powered by a V8 and the bug doesn't have a front grill, I had to make one. I think it looks pretty good. I also added tires and Cragar wheels. Thanks for looking. Dave
  18. Thanks again guys! Dave
  19. I really like the hot rod sleigh! Dave
  20. Love the vette! Dave
  21. Absolutely a beautiful job! I love that it has lots of scratchbuilding! I found that white shoelaces dyed in tea makes for a good firehose as well as the folded cloth you used. Dave
  22. Thanks again for all your nice comments! Dave
  23. Thanks everyone for all your kind comments! Dave
  24. Very nice! I love those Belvideres! My Dad had a '65 Belvidere wagon when we were kids. Dave
  25. Very nice! The '40 Ford delivery is killer! Dave
