  1. I was looking thru all my old model parts and saw that this VW bug had the same roof curve as the 1940 Ford delivery, so I decided to see what I could do with them. I cut the rear off the bug and the rear off the Ford. The Ford back was a bit wider than the VW, so I cut a vee in the van roof and added bracing to fit the bug. They fit now with some body work. I'm not sure about the shot with those fenders. I will have to comb thru all my fenders and see if something fits better. The Ford fenders were too long and looked out of proportion. Probably a set of Cragars will look good. Haven't thought about power train and color yet. More to come! Thanks for looking and I hope you like it. Dave

  16. I originally built this about 12 years or so ago but never liked the color or decals so I repainted it and added brass highlights. It was a Tom Daniels 1912 Paddy Wagon that I cut off the van rear and added a scratch built magazine and coffee kiosk. I shrunk down pics of magazines that were in my interest. The newspapers are random from different eras. The coffee urn is a 1/2" copper pipe. Thanks for looking and I hope you like it. Dave Here is what I originally built: Here is the new version:
  17. Sorry please see it in the Under Glass thread. Dave
  18. After several delays and a couple home projects I finally finished this build. I was looking for a slight Porsche look for the front. I used a Lamborghini dash and console. For the engine I used a Corvette ZR-1 LT5 V8 I also see I should have been more thorough painting the grill. Thanks for looking and I hope you like it.
