  1. I received my order from Fireball yesterday, including 3 sets of his carbs. Outstanding work! And dealing with Joseph is a pleasure, good communication, quick shipping, great prices and amazing detail. Top notch all the way around!
  2. Thanks, Tim. Good job. Keep 'em coming
  3. Thanks Steve and Tony. I might have that Duster kit, I'll have to check it out. And the F100 has a possibility. Thanks for the leads
  4. Thanks for the replies and info, guys. Unfortunately, I dont have any Corvette kits, so I dont think mine came from one of them. Casey, mine are black wall on both sides., so that rules out the T Bird kit. I'll keep searching. Thanks to all you replied
  5. Hi all; While looking for tires for a build, I came across these in the parts box. But I have no idea what kit they came from The sidewall says GoodYear Eagle F1. The rears are slightly taller and wider than the fronts. They must be scaled for a 18-20" rim, because any 15" wheel I put in it falls right through Any help would be most appreciated Thanks Jeff
  6. Nice build, George. I really love the color.
  7. Karl "thought" you were disturbed? Sorry, did I say that out loud? Sorry George, couldn't resist....LOL!
  8. I like it! Im interested in your thoughts on the Gravity Colors paint. Ive seen some videos on using it. It looks like it makes for a nice finish. Or you could just finish the Grabber and you can show us all how the paint works.
  9. Ive purchased a couple of time from Clearly Scale. His work is really good. He has been good to talk to and accurate in his delivery times. I highly recommend him
  10. I absolutely would love to see what you have worked up!
  11. I got a nice set of wheels very similar to these from an E Bay seller names Forward Resin. Narrow front, deep rears. Ive ordered a couple times from him and am happy with his products and service
  12. Great start! Impressive work. Where did you get the tires and wheels?
  13. I have ordered a few things from B-N-L., carbs, truck steering knuckles, batteries. I was happy with my order, had good communication and reasonable delivery time. I would certainly order from them again

    PRO-BIRD.

Wow, that looks really different without the rear wing. I really like it !! Good job on your build
  15. I think you should build all the options you listed.
  16. That is a great idea! Thanks for showing us how you did it. Im off to find a book
  17. You didnt say what size or what they are going on. But Scenes Unlimited (http://scenesunltd.com/) has a good selection and good customer service.
  18. I saw this one and kinda had to take a few minutes to think about it. While I truly appreciate the thought and effort that went into putting that engine in that truck, its not my cup of tea. But I absolutely love the body work. Put a straight 8, or a V-12, I dont care a SMC , put a hood on it and some side covers. Now your talkin'!!
  19. Wow! Really nice. Ive always been a fan of early to mid 60's cars. Yours is a fine example of them. I look forward to seeing some pics of the interior, engine and chassis
  20. For those of you with a MIG welder, or know somebody who has one, the wire from the welder works pretty well
  21. Ive had one of these for more than a year. I dont move it around, so I duct taped all the corners and hard lined the exhaust. I spray enamal and lacquer all the time. Like GeeBee, I clean the filters and motors fan, especially before painting bodies. I think its a great paint booth and well worth the money
  22. Eloveless, Hang in there. We have all been through what your feeling. And we are our own worst critics. Believe me, your first build is WAY better than my first build. Dont compare your first build to somebody elses 20 or 30th build. Use this as a learning experience. Your off to a good start The next build will be better, and the next one better yet
  23. Good luck with this one. I think if you do a thread search, you will find answers to your concerns. He makes some great stuff but good luck getting it.
  24. I have one of the these. Bought it on ebay for the same price. Ive had it for almost a year. I really like it. Since I dont move mine, I duct taped all the edges and corners. That helped, giving it some more rigidity. I blow out the filters every couple of weeks and its good to go Highly recommended
