  1. Thanks so much for all of the comments and encouragement along the way guys!! After a 7 month break I am finally calling this one done and it is “Under Glass.”
  2. I think that you must have an assembly line over there.? Looks great so far!!
  3. This project began with a picture of a truck for sale that I found on line. It had been a spreader truck that the bed had been removed. This is what this one is supposed to represent. I liked the way it looked with no bed. This build started with a Paystar logger truck. The tires, front axle and transfer case are from Kit Form Services. The engine is a Detroit 6-71 from Gary Wallace. Thanks this one stalled for 7 months. I’m glad to be calling it done.
  4. Thanks for all the comments guys! Thanks Dan! I haven’t completely decided. I have considered trying a snow covered base though. I have a couple of projects ahead of this one yet. But I am gaining ground.
  5. Very cool idea! You really pulled off the scene that you were going for. Very nice work! I like it!
  6. I used to see a lot of these and work on a lot of these. You really captured the colors and the look of one of these trucks. Excellent work!
  7. You really captured the 1:1! Nice work under the hood too! Looks great!
  8. Looks awesome!! The paint is perfect! This one looks to be flawless! Excellent work!
  9. Looks awesome! It captures that vintage look for sure! As said already, it has that west coast owner operator feel to it. Nice work!
  10. Thanks guys! It’s wheels are on now for the last time.
  11. This is so cool!! I really like the dents in the door!
  12. Well it looks like you have nailed the frame for sure! Nice work!!
  13. Internationals always look good in red!! I like it!!
  14. Very cool project!! Can’t wait to see where this one is going! What are you going to do with the dump bed???
  15. Looks awesome! Nice improvements! Great looking fleet! You need a shop to maintain a fleet of that size.
  16. Congratulations Dan! Excellent work! Well deserved!!
  17. Glad to see you back on this one! Looking forward to seeing this monster finished!!
  18. Thanks Dan! I just used brass tube and thin evergreen flat stock similar to the way Terry Hymel used to do. I just cut a few short sections of tube, glue flat stock to them and run music wire through the middle. They aren’t perfect, but they are mostly hid anyway. Okay thought that you might like the color scheme though.?
  19. I finally started back on this one. I hinged and painted the hood. Painted the cab and front end.
  20. You knocked this one out of the park! Looking forward to seeing your second big rig!
