  1. And here is the build Video, for those who may have missed it.
  2. Any News on this kit? I've been looking but have seen nothing....
  3. I have no more LHS to support. So, All of my buying is either Online or H.L. But the selection at HL is very stale, and all the new kits I want are coming from Mail Orders, now. I need to get the 68 Coronet HT to go with my 'Vert, but the Ford Trucks pushed it down the list. I may need a second '60 F-100, just for the spare parts and trailer. It is a very nice kit.
  4. Awesome Build! You nailed the weathering!
  5. My wife wants to move to Dog River, (aka Rouleau) Sask. She likes the show so much that we now have a Copy of the Ruby sign in our Great Room. WE even started started watching the CFL Grey Cup games. So, the family is trending North.
  6. Update II The temporary Election Job with County that I started Jan 30 is done. We finished the phone bank on Tuesday March 19, when the Special Election for California's 20th Congressional District was held. This was only a short term job, paying minimum wage ($16.00 per hr) only until the election was held. I learned more about elections and ballots than I ever wanted to know. Fascinating stuff, however. I suspect, that if you call the Elections Division of your local county, you can sign up to be an observer. It is worth the trouble to watch the actual process of an election working. There are many, many more moving parts than most folks imagine, and more activity than you can believe. It is worth it to learn and watch. Got hired to start a new, permanent job, April First. (not a joke). Industrial Concrete Company, doing Concrete Cutting for Cal-Trans, Fed-Gov and BNSF Railroad.
  7. I think You are correct. It is an odd mix of Custom Parts.
  8. Great Build! The Colour Combo of Woodgrain and Yellow pops. Did you start with the MPC Woody/Pickup Kit?
  9. Thanks, Ace. Plenty of reading there, for fixing Chrome Head;ight. I'll be busy later.
  10. I'd Use the OHC-6 Myself, factory stock or not. It would look Killer, and you would have the only one! But, that is just me.
  11. I need one set of South Carolina Decals. Want to know which decal sheets I should be on the look out for. Thanks!
  12. I plan on using one from either the Fuzz Duster Plymouth or the Turtle Wax Van.
  13. Again, Thank You, Tim! I'd be using the Grille and bumpers in the box. I rather fancy their looks, really. But, I'm working on a pair of the New Round2 60/63 Ford Pickups, and my Baja Beast Long Bed Dodge 4x4 race truck, so any Merc projects will have to wait a while. I really like the colours HPI Guy chose for his build too. And that Over Size Parachute Pack will make a great load for a trailer or pickup bed when suitably painted.
  14. Tim B. Thanks for the info. If I ever Build the kit, it would be OOB with the Kit tires, so It would be as close to stock as the box contents are. It is nice to have the stock wheel covers back, though.
  15. And, That Big Boxy looking thing he asked about? That is the last remaing bit of the "Put On" overscale parts from the 1970 version. It is a parachute pack.
  16. Great Build of Pappy's Bent Wing Bird.
  17. So, Nobody has any idea about this Air Cleaner?
  18. Would the Fireball Modelwerks Resin tube bumpers for the First Gen Ford Bronco Fit? Or could they be made to fit, without too much work? I'd guess the dimensions are close.
  19. Amen, Mark! You said it much better than I could. Thank You!
  20. Yeah, Revell is getting a whole lot of mileage out of that set of Wheel Tooling. I don't really care for those wheels and think that they look dated now, even though they are not really that old. But, it is easy enough to find other wheels.
