  1. I'm more interested in the cigar, whiskey music bar in the back ground of the second shot. Maybe they can come back later and pick me up.
  2. It's late November in northern Ohio. That's how it got that way to begin with.
  3. I called it quits after 50 years in food service in March 2023 @ 66 years. The wife has two years to go. Enjoying it so far. I've got the models, a garden, grandkids,(and their sports.), cooking, reading and odd jobs/repairs, etc. I'm in relatively good health and keep busy. Hit a slump in November 2023 when the colder weather chased me into the house. I needed something to keep me busy. Still had the hobby, but wouldn't dare do only that for fear of my demise, and refuse to sit in front of the TV all day. I ended up working at the middle school 10 - 2 each day, serving lunch. I have a great time joking with the kids, (6 - 8 grade.) Weekends, holidays and the summer off. Plus snow days! Keeps me busy and gets me out of the house. Literally 6 minutes from home. Also satisfies the need for socialization, and gives me pocket money. As others have stated, life is short. Have a plan, diversify your interests, and do it as soon as you're able. Life is also cruel. My son's friends father had a heart attack and died while giving his retirement speech.
  4. And Go Bears!
  5. This is a Smart car. Can't say the same about the owner.
  6. Good looking ride. I like the detailing through out. Nice work.
  7. That's pretty sharp. Great idea.
  8. Good people bring out the good in people. Gossip dies when it hits a wise persons ears. I don't want to live forever, but I want to live today.
  9. Came across this in a parking garage. All I can tell you is it's an auto granny. All the badging was removed including the top of the grill. The white "streaks" on the side are reflections from the lights. Despite the the hood, I suspect it may have started life as a lesser model, though I could be wrong. Still... a nice looking ride.
  10. Stepped out to check the mail today, and the across the street neighbors cat ran out from my front flower bed. When looked to see what it was doing, I found this.
  11. Looks like Dick is really jammed in the upper corner trying to see beyond the hood. And the steering wheel's gotta be hurting his chest.?
  12. That looks really sharp. Nice and clean, plenty of details. Love the two tone treatment.
  13. Yeah but it was an awesome team. At least we didn't follow the Vikings example.
  14. This is the current reissue. I have to admit the box art sold me on this one. Typical Aoshima. Curbside kit with plenty of detail and precise fit. The paint is Behr roasted corn spray paint. I built it OOB and did my best to pick out the detail. It was a quick, fun build. Comments & critiques welcome. Thanks for looking.
  15. Yeah, this is a great kit. I built one a while ago. I like your exterior color choice. Nice job on the wood grain, I haven't mastered that yet. Nice build.
  16. Really nice. I was on the fence about picking this kit. Your build, especially the attention to detail, has convinced me. It looks awesome.
  17. Nice work, looks really good.
  18. Now that's something I wouldn't expect to see. Great vision and execution. Very very nice
  19. Wow...that's really nice. So many wonderful Little details to discover. awesome job.
  20. Oh my...... It just keeps getting better.
  21. Looks really nice. I'm lovin' ' the interior detail. I have this kit in the stash, I may have to move it up in the queue after seeing yours. Very well done.
  22. Bears fan since 1970, I'm right there with you. Game was pretty much BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH 'til late in the 4th. I believe the term hail mary was coined after Doug Flutie threw one for Boston College back in the day.
  23. Very cool. Ready to rumble. Is that rubber I smell burning!
  24. Awesome.
  25. Oh that looks very nice. I agree with everyone else's comments. Wow.
