  1. Very cool. Tidy little build with plenty of detail. That color.......
  2. What's Revells contact info? I could use a new decal sheet for their 70 Torino Cobra. Thanks
  3. Really really nice. Cool old barge.
  4. Thanks everyone for your thoughts and suggestions.
  5. Nice looking Stude. See what I mean? Personality and style.
  6. When it comes to trucks, I find myself drawn to the trucks in the back ground, as opposed to the sales leaders, or odd balls. Some have more personality and styling. There's others, but I'll leave it at these. 64 Studebaker Champ, 37 Chevy Suburban and a 47 Diamond T
  7. Very cool. That roof makes it look much longer. Nice, clean build.
  8. Off to a good start. Seems like you have this well planned out. Goodly k n your quest. How many have you built so far. If I remember correctly there's about 14 different variants
  9. Beautiful replica so far. Superb detailing
  10. Hey all. Im currently working Revells 1950 F1. How would I approach painting the fender/bed unit?. Do I prime/ paint each piece separately, or assemble the bed and paint as unit? Do I prime separately than assemble and do color coats? My concern is ensuring an even, consistent coat. I'm using Duplicolor dark garnet red metallic. The bed floor is not an issue as I'm adding wood boards, etc. I have to do the spoon test to see what primer plays best with the color coats, (I have duplicolor light Grey, tamiya white and Mr primer 1000 gray. How do you guys approach this to get the best finish possible? Thanks
  11. Great tribute. I've probably seen plowboys work but hadn't realize it. I look forward to seeing where you take this and learning more about Rogers work in the process.
  12. 2 nice examples of one of my favorite body styles. Both look great! Nice detailing. I like the green one best.
  13. Check out his hall of fame acceptance speech on you tube. Classic.
  14. Well now...... isn't this interesting. Very unique and verrry cool.
  15. Recently completed and previously posted. Needed to be posted here with it's brethren as well.
  16. Never had a desire to become part of the herd⁹. My entire social media presence is this forum. As others have said, I have better things to do with my time.
  17. Nicely done. I like the subtle weathering. Looks properly used. More realistic to me that way. I coulda sworn that first pic was a real car.
  18. They say it's not the destination, it's the journey. I followed on this journey, and enjoyed every step. I was amazed by how this came together from concept to the final destination. I can only hope to be half as skillful. I think the final result is spectacular. Bravo.
  19. Thank you.
  20. What color primer us used please.
  21. Good looking ride. Good color choice for the old gal. Nicely done.
  22. The first Pic from above, seeing the whole car and what you've achieved to this point, really makes me more appreciative of what you doing. Love how this is coming together. Great vision and mad skills yo.
  23. Very nice, like the two tone. Is that the Flintstone body? I have it in my stash, but have never worked with a resin body. I'll get to it at some point. Looks really nice next to the El Camino.
  24. Man that color pops! Perfect for this car. Nice work on the details. The mods are perfect, nothing over the top. It looks brutal. We'll done.
