  9. That's real pretty. 65- 67 are my favorite Impalas. Nice color. Looks good with the poverty caps.
  10. Saw this Imperial at my grandsons little league game today. Overall looked pretty clean. Noticed rust on the lower right trunk section, and a little on the left rear quarter panel bumper. Still.... a really sweet looking car.

  18. Good eye, yes it is. A little sanding to match the curve of the hood, some putty and done.
  19. Very nice, clean build. The color looks good on it. Looks like your skill haven't diminished any.
  20. Hi everyone. This is the full detail kit from AMT. It started on the mock up thread and went from there. The 6 cylinder was swapped out for a ZR-1 engine. The cone filter is from an SRT dodge pickup. The engine compartment had to be modified for it to fit. A fellow member suggested smoothing the firewall. It still wasn't enough room. I ended up removing it and adding a recessed firewall from a 32 duece kit. The brake cylinder is also from the corvette kit. The radiator support was modified and a spare radiator was used. As I'm sure you know, there isn't much detail in the interior. Chrome trim, door cranks, a shifter, new pedals and a steering wheel were added to dress it up. Wheels and tires came from the Copperhead concept truck, brakes from the parts box. Paint is testors diamond dust and graphite dust over Mr color 1000 light Grey primer. I left the chassis as is. It was a fun build and think it looks pretty good. Comments/critiques are welcome. Thanks for looking.

  22. Wow, that paint really pops. I like this one a lot.
  23. Very cool. The paint looks very nice. I'll have to try that combo. Any thing to look out for when applying the clear red? Nice job.
