Nicely done David. It looks good in white. The engine is awesome.

I don't believe I've ever seen one of these built stock. The color is period perfect, smd I like the under hood detail. It's held up well.

57 Chevy Bubbletop pickup
Chuckyg1 replied to Modlbldr's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
I was worried the height of the body would make the bubble look out of proportion. Seeing it mocked up, it works. The Cove helps to break up an otherwise flat expanse. I'm enjoying your work so far. Keep it going. -
This is an all around nice build. The color is perfect and the accent stripe compliments it nicely. The detail work is very good. The black wheels give it a bit of a bad boy vibe. Very nice.

This is interesting, I'm following along. I think the rear window would look better as a half oval to mimic the rear of the cab. -
That's really cool. Nice colors and cleanly built. Probably would be a hard build in a smaller scale. Very nice.

Stunning! The wheels work well with this. I like tour color choice, what is it. Any problems putting it together? I've heard it has it's issues.

That's really nice. Great color choices and wheel detail.

Great looking build. The clean execution and attention to detail are way past my abilities, (although I do pretty god work I think. The color helps it look mean. Oh yeah..... The photography is pretty good too.

I watched this come together, it turned out great.

Also on this date, in 2017, Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers performed what would be their last concert at the Hollywood Bowl. Tom died a week later.

Oh wow. You don't see many of these built, and this one is spot on. Nice work.

I've always like this generation of Torino. The color choice is perfect and the details make your build a standout. As a side note, I think the Talladga was a Revell product, though I could be wrong.

That color is awesome.

Yeah.... That's it right there. Perfect period piece. It's different and really cool.
