  1. Is the 57 Cadillac a multi piece body?
  2. I built the original kit years ago, and I don't recall any problems with the hood.
  3. I accidentally stumbled onto this site for HENHAO. It is an exporting co. in Taiwan that has thousands of kits for really good prices, and free shipping for orders over $40.00! Has anybody ever heard of them, or ordered from them? They have over 5500 items in their automotive model section, mostly kits, but a lot of resin, and gauge decals from Best Model Car Parts.
  4. I built one(street rod version)and loved it. It went together great with NO parts fit problems, and looks great when finished. I'm not one of the typical nit-picking rivet counters, but I know what a 65 Falcon looks like, and that's what this model looks like. I'm looking for another one, would like to find a Ranchero.

  6. I put this in the wrong place. I meant for it to go in the questions section. Could a Moderator move it, please ?
  7. I was looking at images of Yenko Novas on Google, for some ideas, and clicked on a picture of a Revell 69 Yenko Nova kit, and the kit came up with a price of $14.99. That seemed like a good price to me, so I went into the site for this place called HENHAO. I searched around for a while, and finally found the models section(over 5000 items)and they have great prices, and free shipping on orders over $40.00. They have a ton of kits, a lot of resin stuff, some decals, and many Best Model Car Parts gauge faces. They're kind of like Amazon, having a little bit of everything. I wondered if anyone else has had any experience with them? With their selection, and prices, it almost seems too good to be true.
  8. So, It's almost March, where's the 57 Caddy? It's the only one on the list that interests me.
  9. I'm not an "ELVIS" collector, I just like the car. The size looks pretty good, from what I can see with it in the box. I normally only buy 1/25 scale, but since this is a huge car, I don't think the scale will matter much. I haven't decided weather to buy it or not, but it's been there a while, so I think I've got time.
  10. Yeah, it's the blue one that they have. It is a really nice color, which is what has me considering buying it. I don't buy many die casts, but I doubt we'll ever see a 55 Caddy in a 1/25 kit.
  11. I've noticed that it has so much pearl to it that it almost looks silver. I do kind of like it though.
  12. I saw a Greenlight 55 Cadillac "Elvis" edition at Hobby Lobby, and wad wondering if anyone has , or has seen one of these? It looks pretty good in the box, but I'm not sure if I want to spend $20 on it. It's 1/24 scale, but doesn't look too big.
  13. I grabbed a can of Mr. Hobby Mr. Surfacer 1000. Anybody tried this stuff? How does it compare with the Tamiya primer that it replaced?
  14. It's not an issue for me. I got rid of the one I had, and never want to see another one.
  15. That's what I'm thinking, and the guy that did the boxart got it right.
  16. Can you show a picture of your airbrush and compressor?
  17. Yep, this is the worst kit ever made to my knowledge. My favorite part is the ridiculous wheels, totally flat, round discs with a little bump in the center, and no other detail at all, and dripping with thick chrome plating. I would have to see a worse kit to believe that one existed.
  18. It seems like this kit always sits a little high in the front to me.
  19. I've always wondered why the cubic inch decal in this kit says 321 cu in, when the 57 Ford would have a 312, and on the boxart it says 312?
  20. Thanks Claude, I'll have to see if I can find one of those.
  21. That's cool, where did you get the guitar?
  22. I don't doubt that it's a nice kit, I just saw it listed as a 1/25 scale kit, and wondered if it was a kit that I had missed. It's not a big deal, I have more kits than I'll be able to build in my lifetime. I build 1/25 scale models, and have built a few Mustangs, and to my eyes a 1/24 scale Mustang(as good as it might be)would look STUPID displayed with them. I just asked a simple question, and now I'll get beat up for not buying a kit because it's 1/24 scale. My question has been answered, it was a misprint, and that is all I wanted to know.
  23. That's what I was afraid of. I'm not spending 35 bucks on a 1/24 scale kit.
  24. I saw on Tower Hobbies website, a Revell 65 Mustang 2+2 fastback in 1/25 scale(#RVL07065). Is this a new kit, or has it been around a while? I'd like to have a 65 fastback in 1/25, but I don't think I've ever seen this kit, and I don't know if I want to spend $35 on a kit that i know nothing about Of course, they don't have it in stock(like most other kits), but I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about it.
  25. All of the airbrushes, and compressors at Hobby Lobby are "buy it now" priced, so the coupon won't work.
