  1. If it's the Skip's Fiesta kit(above)it was not the Monogram kit because the box says 1/25.
  2. I was just kidding. It looks like you took your pictures in the dark.
  3. I have an older 1/25 version Jag XKE from Revell/Monogram(flat box) that I bought, along with an Aston Martin, for cheap. I think they might be old Aurora tools redone by Rev/Mono. How do these compare to these newer versions? They look pretty good to me.
  4. How does it look with the lights on?
  5. This just shows that the 69 Roadrunner is a beautiful car no matter what color you paint it!
  6. I build American cars. The vast majority of American subjects are 1/25, so that is what I want. I owned a 1:1 69 Super Bee, and would love to build a replica of it, but the only version is 1/24, so I don't build it, because it would look odd with the other muscle cars that I have already built. I'm not an accuracy fanatic, but in the real world, a 69 Super Bee was not bigger than a Charger, GTX, Roadrunner, etc. There are a lot of cars I'd like to have in 1/25(70 Roadrunner/GTX, 69 GTO, 70 Firebird, etc.)but there a lot more in 1/25 that I do have, so I just have to live with it.
  7. Hey, I might buy one of these, since they did it in the right scale!
  8. I wasn't slamming anything for being the wrong scale, I wouldn't buy it anyway(already have one in 1/25)I was just responding to the clown that thinks that they should get rid of the 1/25 scale kits.
  9. I said US kits(that means kits made in the United States)that's where I am, that's what I build, and where I buy models! I have never bought a kit from ANY of the manufacturers in your little list, and never will, because I build kits of cars that I'm familiar with.
  10. With 90%(or more) of the US kits being 1/25 scale, that wouldn't leave too much left! I say, get rid of the silly 1/24!
  11. Exactly what I was thinking! I was just looking at my 65 Chevelle wagon, and noticed that the wheel covers looked close to the Impala's.
  12. I use a Krylon color called Bahama Sea for Chrysler engine blue. Looks dead on to me, and it's cheap.
  13. Where did you get the fender flares for the Jeep?
  14. Absolutely the stupidest model I've ever seen! Why would anyone waste any amount of money on this?
  15. Looks like it would be easy to do with the Revell kit.
  16. That doesn't look like a 64 GTO to me!
  17. They're doing the 40% sales every other week.
  18. It looks great, but I think the kit is an MRC, not MPC.
  19. Yes, the parts will interchange, I've done it.
  20. The GMC Deserter kit comes with a lifted suspension, so you should have it covered with those kits.
  21. I don't remember where, but it seems like I saw eyes done as decals. Does anybody else remember these, or was I dreaming?
  22. I had the same car in the early 70s. Mine had the two black hood scoops(ram air)and different wheels, but otherwise identical, and oh yeah, it was FAST.
  23. I agree. I'll paint most small parts while they're still on the trees, and then touch them up with a sharpie or gel pen if needed.
