  1. I still don't get any pictures.
  2. I've never had any interest in anything but 1/25 scale cars, and I have no intention of changing.
  3. Yeah, I've already used a Deserter frame to convert a 60 Chevy pickup, and it worked great, so that's probably the way I'll go. The price would be about the same between the two options, but I'll save the shipping costs with the kit. Now I'll just have another GMC pickup body in the scrapyard.
  4. That's a nice trailer, but for 1/24 scale, it looks a little small. That GTR barely fits on it, so I don't think a 1/25 scale American car would fit on it at all.
  5. I found a Chevy 4x4 conversion with leaf springs, differentials, and transfer case at B-N-L Resin. Has anybody tried this?
  6. Does anyone make a teardrop hood for the AMT 63 Galaxie?
  7. Where would be a good place to look for a diamond plate type toolbox(plastic or resin) for a pickup box, or diamond plate sheets to scratch build one?
  8. To each his own.
  9. Speaking of the 66 Suburban, does anyone make a 4x4 conversion for it?
  10. That would look better than most of the cars that have been posted. Although the 38 Graham is kind of cool.
  11. Why has this thread gone from Revell releases to really UGLY cars with square headlights?
  12. Yep, looks flat black to me too.
  13. I remember one that talked about using Tamiya Smoke(TS-71) spray paint. It is kind of a black tinted clear coat that tones down the bright kit chrome, and still leaves it shiney. It works great, and is also a great for tinting windows.
  14. If that was yellow with black hood scoops, and no side scoops, that would be my car!
  15. I do wish that Revell would do a 56 Bel Air hardtop, and convertible based on their 55s. Those would go great with their 56 Nomad, and while they're at it they might as well do a 57 Nomad to go with all the rest.
  16. I agree, the 56 is the best looking one of the bunch!
  17. I owned a real 69 Super Bee that I would love to build a replica of, but 1/24 just don't work for me.
  18. I'm a 1/25 scale snob.
  19. Too bad it's not 1/25 scale!
  20. Tower Hobbies has it listed for pre-order @ $24.99.
  21. Your T-bird looks great, but your plug wires are just like me.......way too fat. Those would make good heater hoses.
  22. Nope, don't even like them on clown cars. Actually anything you put them on becomes a clown car.
  23. Spray them with a light coat of flat clear lacquer.
