Front suspension, built after a raid in the parts bin....
Tube axle = possibly MPC Switchers. Hairpins = AMT 41 Ford. Quarter elliptics = stock rear springs cut in half.
The steering box was impossible to fit anywhere on the frame without either colliding with something or putting the steering wheel in very strange angles or locations, so I went for cowl steering (made from the stock tie rod, though slightly reshaped), I'm not sad about that since I like it on rods when it comes to looks, and geometry and such is something I try not to take very hard when building models....
I also found the dash I made for this one, a sectioned 51 Chevy dash, I think it will look great in this one. Should i paint it gold, or should I paint it gloss black with the top section in BMF as a divider between the colours?
