  1. I love everything about this truck! Excellent job! I was thinking of crossing the power train and interior of a '70 Camaro with a '55 Chevy Cameo. I don't think mine will look half as good.
  2. Maybe I'm mistaken, but I thought that the Moebius trucks came with a step bumper. At least one of them did. I'll have to look.
  3. This looks awesome!
  4. I just received mine! I love it, thanks Dwayne and Greg!
  5. What kit did you find these wheels in? They look awesome and bring this car to even greater level!
  6. I've been in contact with Dwayne since he asked for emails a few months back. Just want to make sure I'm on the list for two. Thanks!
  7. Man, the possibilities!
  8. May be able to do the 2005 Impala as well!
  9. Great job! Love these style Chevys!
  10. https://www.amazon.com/Revell-53-54-Chevy-Gasser/dp/B000K2896U There's this kit, but I can't remember how "stock" or "non-gasser" it can be built. If I recall correctly, there was trim parts for the '53 and '54 in this kit.
  11. I wish there was a '92! My second car was a '92. It'd be cool to have a conversion from the '96-97 Crown Vic to the '92 and then the '98-12.
  12. Such a mean looking Vette!
  13. I'd keep the red wheels and beauty rings, but I think I'd take the hub caps off and detail the hub. I like it so far!
  14. I've got a few of these extended cab Chevy trucks laying around and I really want to make a full detail kit out of it. Could you show a picture of the chassis and under carriage?
  15. You've got some cool kits there!
  16. I just recently paid $80 for the '30 Ford Model A Coupe. I didn't realize how awesome of a kit it was until they were impossible to buy for a regular price. I searched for 18 months and finally found a brand new sealed kit (from China of course). It was WAYYYY more than I wanted to pay for it, but this was a couple months ago before any talk of possible production starting again in the future. I made up for it by selling a couple other "rare" Revell kits. The '29 Ford and the Caddy Lowrider made up for it. ?
  17. I'm very excited for a Modelhaus kit! I'm sure it'll be a subject to fill a void that the bigger companies haven't produced and be great quality!
  18. I just got this email! I'm sure many of you may have as well. Good for them! A well deserved retirement. Dear Modelhaus Customers, This e-mail is being sent to all addresses that are affiliated with the web site. Our orders are all shipped and we have inventoried all the remaining stock. We have uploaded the remaining inventory, both kits and parts, onto the web site and it will open again the morning of Aug. 25 (this Saturday). We envision it will remain open for a week to ten days. We are giving you some advance notice so you can take the time to assess your needs. Please know that the inventory is limited. Only those items that are still available will be listed and only in the quantity we have. The web site will be able to track the sale of items and when the inventory for a particular part reaches zero, you will be unable to add that item to your shopping cart even though the part is still listed on the site. It is possible that you can add a part to your cart but it will not show up in your cart at the time of the sale. The inventory is adjusted for sale only when an order is actually placed. If you and another customer both add the last of a particular part to your cart, but the other customer checks out first, he will get the item. Sales will only be accepted from the web site. No orders will be taken by phone or by regular mail. The only way to track the inventory is by the web site. This may anger some of our customers who prefer to order via the regular mail. We are sorry, but at this point, we have to do what is manageable and the web orders are the only way to manage the inventory. Though we are retiring the business as you have known it, we are not completely stopping. Don’s favorite part of the business has always been developing new kits. In the past three years he has not been able to develop anything new as we dealt with the onslaught of orders generated by our announced retirement. He had several ideas for new kits that he still wants to pursue. We are not 100% sure how this will play out. He hopes to develop one to two kits a year for a while. We will figure a way to get the word out when a kit is available. The tires we have offered will be available again soon. Our son Chris has worked for us for many years. Several years ago he moved the tire making to his home and we have purchased tires from him. All the particulars have not been worked out. The web site will be www.modelhaustires.com. We will most likely send another mass e-mail when he is ready to be up and running. It has been a pleasure to serve the modeling community for 30 plus years. We will not miss the work, but will miss the connections we have made with so many great modelers over the years. Thank you for all your orders which have made this such a successful business. We wish you all the best! Cordially, Don and Carol Holthau
  19. Anyone have any insight about Revell releasing that new '29 Model A Roadster kit they showed last winter? The black one with the Buick engine?
  20. This will be cool to see!
  21. Great tip! Worth a shot! I use Vallejo flat black wash for my grilles and recessed areas. Works great and flows evenly. Then, just lightly wipe up the raised areas.
  22. Hello! I've searched the forum, YouTube and Google and have been unsuccessful so far. I'm looking for the tutorial on building the racing trailer that was discovered in the kit by using sprue. Any help will do! Thanks!
  23. This is a great looking build so far! I really like how classy the thin white walls look!
  24. I've never had luck with Krylon. This makes me want to try, great job so far.
