  1. I love these trucks! I have one of each of the 69-72 kits and the '66 so far. Have the '65 with utility bed ordered and will get the Fleetside when available as well. I truly wish that Moebius would take a stab at the 73-79 and then the 80-86 Ford trucks.
  2. I'd be in for one for sure! Especially if I could figure out how to get a front and rear end that would look like my '94 I had!
  3. Looks nice! Always a huge fan of the Fairlanes!
  4. Very cool! It's harder to build a realistic wreck than a realistic vehicle fresh from the assembly line.
  5. Wow, this is incredible! Can I ask where the rear window is? I wasn't sure if they had them or not in those days for limos.
  6. Hey there! I'm noticing that I've got an affinity for the 92-96 Ford F150. I've got two long bed, a flareside, a short box, the lightning and a resin crewcab. I'm wondering if there are any aftermarket suspensions, grills or anything available out there for these kits. Thanks in advance!
  7. Looks cool! Maybe you could get seats out of an AMT '51 or Revell '53 Belair. Also, see if you have any thin clear plastic, like from blister packs or cellophane for the windows.
  8. Yeah, I figured that to be the case. Similar to how they waited a couple years to release the 4x4, ramp up excitement and keep customers buying the trucks as they're released. If I'm not mistaken, they're going to have 4 variations of this tooling. I don't remember where I picked that up from however.
  9. I pre-ordered mine from Mega Hobby. Can't wait to get my hands on it!
  10. The BMW is pretty neat looking!
  11. I got mine today and the Flareside tailgate is on the sprue and full width tailgate is in a separate bag all by itself. Anyone know why the kits tires are blank instead of Goodyear or some kind of Firestone tires?
  12. Where is this box art photo coming from? I hope it's the fleetside bed, but don't want to get my hopes up too much.
  13. Phenomenal job on this sweet 4 door Galaxie!
  14. I was wondering about a conversion for this kit. How did you order it and how much did it cost?
  15. I love this forum! I don't share much of my builds because I find it difficult to upload photos from my phone. I share most of my builds on Instagram.
  16. Anyone else notice how controlling and how much "authority" the mods in Facebook groups are when it comes to their pages and groups? Lots of people in the groups are also incredibly salty towards each other. I've left several groups in the past week because of it. This hobby is supposed to be fun, not a bunch of middle aged guys acting like children or grade school safety patrollers.
  17. I got the passenger side completely off with minimal glue damage to try to repair. The driver side is mostly off, but there's a stubborn part giving me hell. Back to the freezer! Thanks again for the tips!
  18. Here are some comparison photos. Sorry for the arrangement of them, my fotki account expired and it's difficult to upload from my phone as I've got no storage available on my mcm forum account.
  19. Thank you both for the insight! I hope I can save this car! I got it for less than $30! There are some pretty rough looking subjects that are selling for a lot more. I love these old Lincolns!
  20. I've got the early 90's release of the '57 Bel Air Sport Coupe molded in a dark tan color. I'm assuming it's based on a much earlier release. I picked the car culture version up at Ollie's for $9.99! Great looking kit. Comes with photoetch parts, wire to simulate plug wires and a small sheet of BMF. WHAT A DEAL! I'd recommend going on Facebook and finding the Ollie's buy/sell/trade/show page and try to trade for one.
  21. Hi there! I recently scored this 1960 Lincoln Continental for a decent price. Chrome is a bit rough, but that's not the end of the world. I can also fix the A pillars as well. I'm curious about how to remove the stylized side skirts on the rear, however. I believe the glue is at least 50 years old. I want to remove it without breaking the skirts or the body. Thanks for any help!
