  1. Are the headlight lenses molded in or just not installed? It looks great! The days when Oldsmobile was powerful! What a shame how they and Pontiac went the way of the buffalo.
  2. Great idea! I'd like to learn about the foil emblem impressions as well!
  3. When I first got into the hobby in the 90's, I remember opening kits like the AMT '53 Ford Truck or AMT '63 Impala and getting little extra accessories like welding tanks, tools, record players, etc. Between all of the members on this forum, we've got thousands of kits. Would anyone be interested in compiling a list of the kits with accessories and what they are?
  4. Looking good so far! The '70 Ford is a very cool car!

  6. I'll be enjoying this one! Off to a great start!
  7. Wow! Thanks for the visual for the BMF lettering and trim. I've been wondering about this for some time. My ex's kid built this kit as his first "Skill 2" and it was a lot of fun helping him! I may get one myself.
  8. I was literally thinking about making a 5x8 enclosed trailer and was wondering about this myself. Are you building a trailer?
  9. I sprayed mine with two coats of Tamiya primer and currently have 1 mist and 1 wet coat on my Torino. I haven't encountered this issue. Purple pond the body and then let it soak in water with dish detergent. I'd also go to Revell's site and request a new hood. Boom, back in business!
  10. Wow, this is gorgeous!
  11. I've got one of these in my stash. My 30's and 40's based kits are pretty intimidating. I hope mine looks as nice as yours does.
  12. This is my favorite generation of the Vette! Looks great!
  13. Nice start! Is that color in a rattle can? I don't think I've ever noticed it before.
  14. Earlier this month, I was browsing a website that gave the history of release years of model kits by make/model/year and then kit manufacturer. I cannot find it now. Can anyone help me out with a link? Thanks!
  15. Is that the tire that was posted in the first comment on this thread?
  16. Great looking Boss! Welcome back!
  17. Depending on the length, a gentleman posted about using acupuncture needless for attenas. Mentioned that he got them from eBay. I'm sure you could trim and paint to suit your needs.
  18. I'm actually looking to replicate the MSP Mustang LX 5.0, any idea of what kit has emergency lights like that?
  19. I'd go to Hobby Lobby or Michael's and check their scrapbooking aisles for embossing powder. It's a realistic alternative to flocking. A little jar of it goes a long way and will only cost you about $4. Just put some white glue down and sprinkle it on there. May I ask how you made the floor mats?
  20. Blowing the dust off this old topic; I was lucky enough to get 3 each of the Ford 427, Chevy 283, Cadillac 354 and Pontiac 421 Revell Parts Pak engines for about $15 with shipping. I've only stripped and built done if the Ford 427 so far, but I really like the detail of it. These Parts Paka have been great trade fodder amongst my modeling friends around town. Here's what I've done to the 427 so far, before other projects stole my interest.
