  2. NICE!!
  3. Hey, everyone!, here is the body work after the last coat of clear has cured. Once i'm done shooting the flat clear on the dash, I will start attaching all the body panels, and call this one done!
  4. Thanks, bud!!, I don't mind sharing stuff......we should all help each other out!
  5. NICE!!!, I have a 917 that i'm gonna do as a street car as well!!...LOL....SACRALIGE!!!
  6. No they weren't, Tommy, The part I screwed up on was when I was painting the centercolumn black, the paint got too thick and looked horrible.....shoulda just masked it like I always do......which is what i'm doing now....lol That is a list of what I will be building in the future.....theres a lot of other ones higher up on the list though.....lol The next group of builds will be; Fujimi's Ferrari 288 GTO, Aoshima's Lamborghini Countach 5000QV FI, Tamiya's Porsche 959, and Hasegawas Jaguar XJ-S.
  7. Thanks, Art!!….i'm glad to have you following!!
  8. LOL!!...Alex has some great stuff!!
  9. Tina told me that sometimes when I screw parts up, its because Gods gonna help me make it better, and it happens all the time to me. This dashboard is no different. I was able to add two vents that it has, and I figured out a better...easier way to paint what I messed up earlier!
  10. Heres part of my update; just got done spraying the red dash top, and as soon as it cures, I will mask this part one more time, so that I can shoot the bare CF of the dash, the vents, and the whole underside with matt clear like the real car. More photos to come soon!
  11. …..There ya go, more than we could possibly imagine!...thanks, Alex!
  12. LOL, keep up the great work, bud!!!
  13. I must be, Tommy, lol, again, I WASNT taking jabs at you or anybody else, it was just funny, hence my; "LOL" in the post. What I meant by; "Purposely", was that instead of trying another time, or another manufacturer of that kolor, he purposely chose to totally change the kolor…….that's all, LOL -Its a good thing I don't do racing cars, everybody would HATE them LOL.....I do whatever kolor I feel like at the time....lol
  14. I know you weren't!, that's why I put; "LOL" with my post....it was just a funny reoccurrence...lol
  15. Hey, everyone!, I will be posting an update later on today for those following...thanks!
  16. Hey, everyone!, I got a bunch of detail painting done on this one, but I messed up the dash, so I had to strip it, and the steering wheel. More photos will be added today.....
  17. Well, its coming together now, just got done masking, and painting the gray leather, next will be the CF accents, switches, buckles, and something new for the headrests, since the masking pulled off one of the decals...….a bummer, but no worries, I have a fix. The Alcantera was a bit of a bugger to do on the steering wheel, but after my 2nd attempt, I was happy with it.
  18. Thanks, Jason!, you're welcome!
  19. Don't forget ARII...lol
  20. LOVE the kolor, Thomas!! seems to me that MOST German cars look their best in shades of grays, blacks, silvers, and charcoals.....
  21. VERY COOL!!!!……..am I the only one so far that understands that he PURPOSELY painted it a different yellow??!! LOL!!!!…...it is HIS build after all.....
  22. NICE!!, but I really hate those U.S. bumpers!
  23. You're welcome, guys!...glad to help!!
  24. White is sooooo hard to paint!!, even with a klean room. If you can hang plastic around the room, and use Canned Air to blast the parts off first, and between every coat. This works GREAT for me, and I VERY rarely have anything stick in my finishes. The plastic acts as huge magnets for dust in the air. Its looking GREAT!!...you can fix it!!
