Almost got everything from the orders that Tina made for me, the only thing left coming now are my Micro-Magnets.......they, apparently. are be delivered by Carrier Pigeon via Japan. Did manage to get these in though, and the seam/mold line scraping tool at the bottom left, is OUTSTANDING!!.....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Fujiya 13-degree Super-Sharp Sprue Cutter
Dann Tier replied to David's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Hate to say it, bud, but the Tamiya ones aren't as good. They tend to "stress" the plastic, and toward the end of the cut, smash, and rip the part off, plus, because of the double blade cutting, it tends to launch parts. I,ve watched ALOT of people testing/comparing various brands, and the top one WAS god head until these came along. I heard about mine on a youtube channel; Flory Models....great channel!.....also got my high-tech seam scraping tool from there as well. -

Hey, Trevor!, I got mine on ebay from Artisanhobby.....$38 if I remember right! They ARE the best nippers out there now. God Heads wear-out quicker. These literally cut like its going through butter!!......even with the fragile clear plastic sprus!! It comes with a torque-bit driver to adjust the "stopper" to where you like it, but it comes factory ready to snip. Obviously the stopper keeps one from smashing the blade, and dulling it.......They are BRILLIANT!! -Oh, and I almost forgot to tell you another HUGE bonus to these....they are designed to stop parts from flying to the carpet monster.....and they don't! -
FANTASTIC!!!

Hasegawa does make these....a couple different versions. I bought mine ten years ago for $75, and everyone I see on ebay now still holds that price, or very close to it. -
Cant wait to see it finished!!......my Pagani has the same color combo in the interior...

Someone say "D" Type ?
Dann Tier replied to Greg Myers's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Built mine with that RofG kit too, with loads of mods. -
That's a really nice kit, I've built a couple of them over the years, and the only thing I would really suggest, is to lower the suspension....it sits way too high. Mike 999, just noticed your number of posts....888 -lol, crazy.

I have doubles of most of my kits usually, if I had an extra DB-5, I woulda sent it your way. I have a Little Nellie kit , its actually really nicely detailed. Not trying to pry, or put you on the spot, but there are always Little Nellie kits on ebay for only around $16-20.

Mark, I am Definitely saving the box!!....it is in EXCELLENT shape for its age! -especially compared to others. I thought I was never gonna be able to get one of these, since the "junk" ones usually still start around $150+......most of the nicer, complete ones (which are the hard ones to find) start-in around $345. Tina tells me she found this one for $117!! -Not trying to throw numbers around, but just showing that still you never know what you can find. I think a "Bond" diorama would be sweet! -i'd have to learn how to......i'm not that great at them -lol

It sure is, sorry to say. I really wish they'd re-issue it. Even partly assembled ones usually start out high.
