NICE!!!! Love the Beasty ride height of this!!! Did you already paint those window scoops?....if it were me, i would thin the opening edge to a more scaled look.

Try staining, and sealing it first....should soak in, and bond it together.

Monogram Ferrari GTO 1/24 Scale the 5 year build
Dann Tier replied to Funkychiken's topic in WIP: Model Cars
I've encountered strange things like that before as well, and no matter how many times i measure, it still looks off. Thats when i compromise with the placement of it. It really is looking Fantastic, Bud!!!! -
That kolor is BEAUTIFUL!!!...glad you were able to fix it!!.....i like to tape the windows in, then flow a watered down mix of canopy glue around the perimeters with a brush....it flows in almost as good as tamiyas extra thin cement. Once it drys for a few minutes, i sometimes add another application.....works a treat for me.

Thanks, Rusty!, glad you enjoy my builds! I heard that about the grills too, but i'm not sure Kit-wise, the Revell grill, and this MPC grill doesnt match, but they are kits. It was actually Dean Jefferys that built the Monkeemobile. About those reflective decals...i believe there were some that looked like the real ones, but i didnt follow that up, since i like the version without them.
