  1. Thanks for the heads-up! I went there today and was able to pick up a lot of stuff. They had the best selection out of all the stores I've been to so far.
  2. I'm getting a 404 page not found error when I try to reply to posts. Also the pages are loading very slowly
  3. If you go to the Frederick or Hagerstown stores and they have any Sox GTX's or 91 Mustangs, let me know. I was thinking about going to those stores on Sunday.
  4. Hit a couple of Ollies. Slim pickings at the two I checked. So far all I've found are a couple of Bull Horn 1/16 T-buckets. Actually a nice kit if you like large scale. I also got a L-700 Tanker, 1/32 Fire truck, A couple of Jukebox Ford's and a Surfite. I'd like to check out a few more stores this weekend. I'd really like some fox-body Mustangs and Sox & Martin GTX's.
  5. Whoever's listing those kits is on a major fishing expedition. They've been on ebay forever. I've seen them at shows for much less. Still pricey, but not that bad.
  6. That poor Land Rover was much maligned when new, but it's actually a pretty nice kit. A huge sales failure at the time, but I think things are different now. I don't know why Revell of Germany never issued it. I would think it would be a big hit in the UK/Europe
  7. Glad to see we're getting a 1966 / 66 Ford Pickup, also that the 4x4 version of the 70 is still in the pipeline. I'm a little dismayed that the AWB Plymouth is still in limbo, especially considering the tooling was completed a year ago. Same goes for the Butch Leal A990 and the AFX Comet. I know they were disappointed with the sales of the Melrose Missile, but that was a car that ran only one race in that configuration. The others should sell much better.
  8. I wonder if Round 2 could re-issue the stock Harley Sportster that the thunder chopper was based on. I would imagine the tooling for it still exists since both kits were available at the same time back then. The Bronson version would be nice too, but I doubt they'd pay licensing for a TV show that isn't in reruns and very few remember.
  9. Does anyone make a resin copy of the MPC early Vega funny car body? Like the one Barry Setzer or Al Bergler kit?
  10. It's a shame really, I have several of his kits. Randy made a good product. Excellent quality and subjects no one else had. Service was never one of his strong points. I purchased my kits when he used to do the Toledo NNL or NNL East. The only item I ever ordered was the 1/16 Daytona Charger and it took over a year to get! I think his shop is called Dailey Hobbies and it's somewhere near Toronto. They have a website. He's also on Facebook.
  11. I'd like to see Round 2 offer the narrow cheater slicks from the Surf Woody in a parts pack as well. They're perfect for early 60's super stockers.
  12. I say bring it on! I'll take any tractor kits they do. Some old American iron would be great too, like a Farmall or 2 cylinder John Deere.
  13. I've got an older issue of this kit. It's says 1/22.5 for the scale, but it was close enough for me. The box art model for the new release looks like they got the rear tires on backwards, or maybe that's how they do it in Germany.
  14. Correctly sized wheels and hubcaps for the Revell Bronco.
  15. Wow! Brewer really broke open the piggy bank on that Bronco! Turned out nice though. I love that show even though some of Mike and Edd's creations turn out a little low on the "good taste" meter.
  16. Replicas and Miniatures Co of MD. makes one too.
  17. I bought a case of those when they first came out. At the time it was the only way to get a Thunderbolt molded in white. I remember being really disappointed at the chrome. The explanation was they were trying to simulate aluminum. I guess they didn't know that only the front bumper is aluminum and everything else is normal chrome! I ended up eventually selling all of them off and thankfully Revell issued a white T-Bolt a few years later.
  18. Went to two more stores today, Randallstown, MD. and Jessup, MD. Got a Blazer, 72 GTO and a couple of 1966 Olds 442's that they'd mis-priced at $2.99! Never found an Exterminator dragster. They both had Bounty Hunters and Malco Gassers, but I already had those. No Corvettes or 51 Chevys. Looks like none of that stuff made it out east.
  19. Found a couple 66 Oldsmobiles at Ollie's today that were mis-priced at $2.99!! Someone put the wrong sticker on
  20. I love stripping these old Junkers! It's like a treasure hunt. You never know what you'll find!
  21. There was this sad 67 Falcon. The rear wheel openings weren't hogged out as happened to so many of these so I decided to save it Look at all the pretty colors!! There must've been 5 layers of paint on there It actually came out white!
  22. I don't know if this qualifies as a glue bomb, but it's a bomb nonetheless I actually started to fix this
  23. Ollie's has some new kits again! The one near work didn't have a whole lot, but I was able to pick up some MPC Bounty Hunter F/C's and a couple of Malco Gasser Mustangs.
  24. Has anyone ordered one of these sets lately? I checked the website and they're in stock, but there's no button that I can see to add them to the cart for ordering! It's the same way for all of his parts.
