About 30 years ago, during my first run of modeling, I was mainly a Monogram builder... largely because of subject matter. This is one of kits I built way back when. It met an untimely demise, like all my models from then did, by falling from the shelf of doom... I salvaged what I could and it has sit completely untouched since... hence 30yrs of dust... So in recent years, I've went back to purchase some kits from my childhood in hopes to build them mainly like I did back then... Finished this one up today... Paint and clear is all Tamiya... Finally assembled my first kit of the year... I don't remember this one being such a PITA though lol... Oh well, it's done. Maybe that'll put things back in motion. As always, thanks for looking... on to the next...
  2. This is what I do... and it's the best way
  3. Now see, this right here... I can absolutely get behind this. Far better looking and practical. Colors, concept and execution are great. Very nicely done.

  10. I think it would work either way. I personally sprayed the car black then masked and sprayed the silver... Then on the '84 version I'm pretty sure I sprayed the silver and then the black...

  23. Sooo many wires... I wouldn't even know where to begin. If it's more that a 3way and 3 lug pots, I don't what the heck I'm doing. I dig that paint job though.
