Looks good so far. I've actually always wanted to build this kit... buut I have a love/hate relationship with most AMT/MPC kits I've tried to build. Interested to see how you feel about this one.

Honestly, I guess it does give it more of a polished aluminum look than anything... This was flat clear and then panel liner on top. That's really the only insight I can offer as far as spraying the kit chrome with anything...

The GMC plow truck is a 40+ year old kit, originally released by monogram. Just to add to the topic.. I sprayed the chrome on mine with flat clear and then "rusted" it up.

I didn't have any BMF, even though I could have sworn I bought some... so I taped it up... SO.MUCH.TAPE Gotta do a little clean up here and there... but Mica Silver to the rescue... Stay tuned...
