Thanks Ronnie, Chris and Michal
Sorry for taking so long...
I cut the inside of the tire out. Then super glued the wheels, wheelbacks and tires together and then clamped it down. Very easily done. Just take your time with it.
Great looking survivor you got there Mike. Always loved these Monte Carlos... Those years of Montes, Buicks, Cutlass, Grand Prix and Malibu/El Camino are some of my favorite cars of all time.
Not finding exactly what I'm looking for in an answer, I figured I'd ask...
What is the best way to strip this down to nothing?
Any and all advice appreciated.
It's been a year since this topic was first posted. Was mostly just a way for me to vent so to speak. The goodness you guys showed from then on was/is amazing. The encouragement and support was deeply appreciate throughout the year.. and Jacob was blown away by how people he didn't know we're rooting for him...
How far he's come in a year has been inspiring to see. He's a tough one and determined. Hes talking about going to school to be an EMT and possibly and RN afterwards... I hope he follows through.
Last night he said goodbye to his faithful car spot... And today took over my Impala.
I'm one proud, happy and VERY thankful dad.
Ahhh... the alter ego of mine. 1970 Firebird TA
Looks good!
The kit is an old Monogram kit. Hence the simplicity... but they generally rock. sorry if you already knew.
