  6. I got mine at a Wal-Mart local market with a limited magazine selection. as a mater of fact I was feeling sorry for my self having to go there to shop as I knew they few magazines of interest. ThenI spot this one. Only one on the shelf. Go figure.
  7. Read the book " A French Kiss With Death " all about making the movie and every ones involvement. Yes it is an early GT- 40 used for camera work.   11. Ah, yes the Grama / Grampa connection, I remember it well. Mine were all over the board. I remember getting a Revell SS United States kit as it was the sister ship to the one we came across on , the SS America. Now there's some internet time for ya. I'd post pictures but I'll feel lucky if this post goes through.

  14. The latest issue of our favorite Hot Rod magazine, Hot Rod Deluxe has a full page article on Dragsters in scale. Thanks Mr Boyd. Looks like model cars are making their way back into automotive magazines.

  16. Those MRC sets have great wheels and funky square tires. the sidewalls are completely FLAT.
  17. Well at least he doesn't have the silly easter egg basket on the roof so many have. I lived in Germany in the early '50's and England in the early '60's and i don't remember EVER seeing one those wire wind catchers.
