  1. Interesting subject, with a face only a fleet owner would love, I'll be watching your progress on this one.
  2. Thanks for sharing the restoration photos Hakan! They are doing an excellent job, correct wheels and bias tires make a world of difference, plus the correct engine is icing on the cake. It will be a time capsule back to the mid 70's.
  3. Like the cab and long wheelbase, this will turn out nice.
  4. A 70's F350 4x4 would have been a rare bird in 1:1, would have been an aftermarket conversion by Napco, curious if it comes with a 2WD twin I beam front suspension also.
  5. Cab painted Dept. Of Forestry colors.
  6. Decals look great! Very close to under glass. I had a hard time with the white fender stripe, straight white line decals did not want to follow the curve of the fender. The solution was to buy 1" wide white tape and cut out the half circular pattern.
  7. Beautiful job on the 359, great color combo and love the long wheelbase modification and front axle narrowing, looks much better than box stock. Now that's a real "Western Hauler".
  8. Nice work on this almost forgotten Mack F, the Cruiseliner got all the fame from AMT, always like the cab design and how modern it looked back in the day. No frills fleet treatment is spot on.
  9. Very nice combo build, I like your taste in heavy duty Fords, I need to catch on these cool offerings. Really like the paint scheme detail work and wheel choice, especially the center point front axle, common back in the day when power steering boxes and plumbing was unreliable.
  10. It is gray, but looks very good, my earlier '69 Dodge pickup purchase still looks very good too.
  11. Great conversion, first time I've seen this front end built and along with the wheels and colors, you really captured the look of a 60's long hauler.
  12. You knocked this one out of the park Bill! Fantastic job on upgrading detail parts. I like the adherence to the way Ford built them in '73. Wheels are the correct color silver, front inner fenders are correctly galvanized, 360 V8 and 4 speed practically in all F 250 4x4's and the very popular back in the day, barden rear bumper. "Hiboy" stance looks spot on.
  13. Outstanding fabricating work, combo looks great!
  14. Received my order today, very nice piece, highly recommended. The 50 year wait is over on the Ford. ? Thankyou Andy.
  15. The GMC conversion pieces look great, really like the GMC upper only moldings, correctly detailed dash, color and stance. Great work!
  16. Great kit bashing Chuck! Looks spot on, really like the well maintained look, the correct detail work on grill ( black outline trim), white tailgate lettering with silver barden bumper.
  17. Dump was a resin piece from AITM. Pretty straightforward, nice simple one piece casting. Painted Dept. of Forestry green.
  18. This build is coming together very nicely, your patience and hard work really transformed a mundane manufactured kit into the real thing! Decals will make it pop!
  19. Great work Tom, looks 100% better than the AMT cab.
  20. Little historical note, the Super Duty engines (401, 477, 534) officially introduced on '58 models, however there were '57 prototypes tested in fleets with theses engines, so, my build is technically a F 950 prototype.
  21. Thanks for your comments, I'm using Rustoleum OSHA safety green. The shade of green looks like the Dept of Forestry green, so this build will naturally be a Dept of Forestry dump truck.
  22. Mystery why AMT never covered the F cab, IMO, they were a popular cabover. Oh well, we have to do them the hard way, glad to see you tackle this one Brian, the more Mack donor pieces, the better. It appears to be a flywheel PTO.
  23. Interior complete. Another item that works well is the steering wheel and column from the Revell '56 F 100.
  24. Thanks for all the positive comments, here is the inspiration photo.
