  1. The re issue Sod buster built in stock forum. Went with aftermarket wheels, caps and tires for the factory look.
  2. Fan also, the series unfortunately ended too soon, an excellent glimpse of Southern California in the 70's. IMO, downhill spiral ever since. I thought for sure Richie Brockleman would get a spin off series?
  3. Outstanding job! You really captured the look of stock Chevy window van back in its prime. Very authentic looking. Rookie Resin once offered the correct looking cap for this era.
  4. Even better would be the 8' Flareside (stepside) offered by Fireball, since the photo is a F 250. The width of the bed and tailgate is actually larger than the regular 6' F 100 bed. The 17" 8 lug wheel and tire combo would be a cool aftermarket item. Hint.
  5. Lot of possibilities with the '60, not so much with the '63.
  6. Here is the Dodge version for sale. Not mine.Marketplace - Scooby van | Facebook
  7. Don't believe the lug tread tires are available in smaller scales, but ST supply carries the lug tires(above photo) in 1/25, they are very nice, just picked up a set.
  8. One thing I noticed in the KW factory photos is the white or silver radiator shutters? I left my grill alone, not sure if white or silverwashing would do the trick.
  9. Good choice for a Ryder rig, they bought a lot of Fords in the 60's-70's.
  10. Fantastic detail work. Factory photos are excellent reference materials. Unfortunately, I cut a few corners on my build, really wish I would have tapered the rear frame with a 45* cut, the earlier version pre '73 AMT frame came boxed.
  11. Great looking build! Like the use of centerpoint steering on the front wheels, a much more reliable system than the early power steering set ups. Excellent super detailing on frame. The crackerbox and livestock trailer both have a vintage look that goes together really well.
  12. Great new project, I like it! The transkit looks like a very nice conversion piece. A future fleet of Ryders?
  13. Super low mileage unrestored original '60 Custom Cab. Stick next to gear shift lever is a parking brake lever ( F 350 thing) otherwise 100% indentical to a F 100 or F 250 2wd. The original AMT kit was done RIGHT! ( just wish the seat was separate). Dash panel is correct for Custom Cab. Standard Cab dash panel is all white for '60, no chrome accents.
  14. Great job! High quality work! Give us ideas on how to build the American counterpart Ford C series.
  15. Nice vintage photo. The styling on Ford pickups was way ahead of its time for '67, no wonder the '73-'79's were not drastically changed from this successful series.
  16. Very sharp looking build. The top kick looks right at home as an oil hauler. Paint scheme, color and grill details look fantastic, excellent job on the mirrors, always a tough thing to fit on medium heavy trucks. The sand spreaders, storage box and rear bumper are nice extra touches.
  17. Great line up! This display should have been in their corporate headquarters back in the day?
  18. Thanks for all the positive comments. Always trying to change things up a bit. Originally was a stepside in poor shape. The wrecker boom and floor piece is from the Revell '77 GMC wrecker with the strange looking wrecker body. The bed was fabricated using side panels from the Peterbilt 359 sleeper. The chassis is the typical flat frame, but extended a bit and the 2WD front suspension was removed and resin front 4x4 axle and leaf springs added. Wheels are from a diecast 50's Chevy. Last photo is the inspiration for the 1 ton 4x4 conversion.
  19. Rebuilt an older GMC pickup into a 1 ton 4x4 wrecker. A little scratch building on the wrecker body.
  20. Great fabrication work on the midget Sundance.
  21. Great job on backdating the cab, like the authenticity of the interior and engine colors.
  22. I spy a separate grill and bumper on the '63 F 100, nice improvement.
  23. Didn't now that Andy, would have purchased them from you, just received the DiOlex version, it is very nice! Any possibility of doing the '60-'61 GMC version? GMC would just need a hood , V6 emblem and grill. Or the '62 Chevy version? Chevy would just need a hood and grill. Using our creativity, a dual drive set up could be pirated from donor kits for a Heil dump body or Challenge mixer body.
  24. Correct Hakan, a Keystone piece.
