  1. Interesting, I may have that Elco kit around here (no way of molding it though), I'll have to go and look for that paper at HD, and I had been looking at the corregated siding at work yesterday, but bought Evergreen 1/2 Round stock instead. Thanks Bill!
  2. The above said, I do like the chromed badging, it would look a whole lot better on my '98 than the current lettering ever did, even when new!
  3. It is a few steps above the competion, it actually is an off road vehicle........however, seems the could have relaced the Patriot and or Liberty with this then brought out a more deserving of being called Cherokee. Why not build a unibody wagon that is loosely based around the Wrangler's drivetrain and suspension without being as stupidly big and heavy as the 4dr JK Wrangler.
  4. Just wondering if there is a good tutorial for doing a Tuck and Roll interior?
  5. That's pretty cool, what kit is needed to complete that?
  6. Think I broke a toe when getting ready for work (slid on the wet bathroom floor and hit a corner of the wall)............and I work retail, so the only time I had to sit down once I got there was lunch, a bathroom break, and when finishing up closing paperwork at the end of the day..........and of course, it was on my birthday too.............happy birthday to me...............
  7. Hey now, he was just a tech, not the bean counter that engineered that part
  8. I'll bet that little Saturn has shocked a more than a few people!
  9. That is neat!!!!!!!!!
  10. Almost looks like the table fell on it
  11. Looks nice, Dad had one in white with red interior from '62-'85 when he scrapped it (it was in baaaad shape). It was a driver, a racer, and up until right before I was born, an off road vehicle that would likely go more places than most modern SUV's.
  12. I believe that by buying Lindberg and Co., they did do just that
  13. I wondered the same thing for years now Luc, it would be nice to see them change that.
  14. Nah, some clown would complain about an inaccuracy in the build.
  15. Had one of those monstrosities park next to my Cherokee once and that thing actually completely obscured my little Jeep from view when I approached them......all I could think was, I know I parked right over there, where is it?
  16. Wouldn't be surprised if it was the same one, but with a Jewell/OSCO sign on it around the same time at Railroad Days.
  17. I think the latter will be more likely.
  18. I suddenly wish there was an easily acquired AMX kit!
  19. I thought the Corvette was supposed to be aluminum, but there was a strike somewhere in the aluminum industry that made GM decide to stick with fiberglass instead, and the car has been some sort of plastic ever since.
  20. GHAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO! NOT THE CHAINLINK AGAIN!!!!!!!! Quick, some body get the BAN HAMMER!
  21. Here's an option for this reissue Apparently it's a real life Darryl Starbird creation too! http://www.remarkablecars.com/1979-illusion-starbird.html Any of you guys want to try and tackle it?
