  1. Actually, that X-Frame car was the perfect choice for the IIHS to prove their relevance, that was probably the weakest platform they could find no matter what the age.
  2. I've had them loaded, don't really care much for them that way. The fewer gadgets there are, the fewer things there are to go wrong when it starts getting old (now when I start getting that old........) I've had enough interior electrical issues related to wiring on my current Jeep to wish it was possible to find a basic LE or Sport XJ with the same transfercase and maybe a tape player instead of a full on model.
  3. I kinda wish it was easier to get more basic trim packages with things like manual windows, doorlocks, ect but still get the better drivetrain packages.
  4. Nice!!!
  5. That wouldn't surprise me in the least.
  6. Should be interesting driving through down town Geneva if we get any heavy snowfalls this winter, I've already that running in full time 4wd in the rain isn't a bad idea when driving through down town.
  7. Yup, and I'm not going to complain one bit
  8. Hmmmm well, shipping a parishable product cross country in that short of a time period can't be cheap to do. Do they use USPS, UPS, or FedEx?
  9. I just looked at the price while at work, they want $26.99 for that kit.............Too friggin' much if you ask me!
  10. Well, in his defense, the "wife" is a Lara Croft Doll
  11. It's the 70's, everything automotive sucked then.
  12. Real, wheels look aluminum and all the stuff MicroNitro mentioned too.
  13. At least that one is above ground then!
  14. Yea, Harry is right, about the only other area with much elevation change seems to be along the Fox River. Been in parts of Iowa that are more mountanious that this state is!
  15. Wasn't Spyker going to buy them?
  16. I'm not sure any more Jim, I rarely get the chance to go that way unless it's dark any more.
  17. Atleast you didn't have to pay as much for that as you would for the Tamiya Nissan GTR
  18. Just had Gianario's last weekend Jim, I do like Pal Joey's too though. Haven't had Portillo's in the same length in time though, work isn't right by there like it used to be
  19. Was there anybody special hiding in the car?
  20. Not sure if he'd be allowed to Christian
  21. Just wait till the "WON'T SOMEBODY PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Brigade gets wind of this and starts to suing tire manufacturers and retailers to "prevent gang bangers from getting these and marking their territory by doing dangerous multicolored burnouts"................................again
  22. How difficult would it be to add that wrecker bed to the other '77 GMC?
  23. That's usually one of the first things to go along with the mold lines and such.
